I'd really love to join this thread if that's ok?
I'm 22, female and have quite a lot of weight to lose.
On 4th March I weighed myself in the morning and I was 19 stone 4.5 pounds.
Since then I've been using MFP to try and calorie count and just eat more healthily.
I weighed myself on Friday(15th) morning and I'd got down to 18 stone 11.I was so happy!
I'd love to get down to about 12 stone, so I'd like to lose 102.5 pounds in total.
Would love to be part of this thread for motivation, support and good ideas of how to stay on track!

Welcome Josslette
That's an impressive loss so far, you've got off to a really good start :T
I could say I've lost 100 lbs, but really it's the same 50 lbs twice (if you see what I mean, bit of a yo-yo dieter). And this time I'm determined it will be the last time, no more eating as a reaction to whatever else is going on in my life.
So 100 lbs is totally doable, just keep focusing on the end result.
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Thanks for the welcoming messages
Please could I be put down for a 2 pound loss for the last two weeks of this challenge?
I think I'll post what I've planned to eat tomorrow
B - Weetabix x2 and 100mls Semi Skimmed Milk
S - Grapes
L - Ham Salad Sandwich on Granary Bread
S - Strawberry Muller Corner
T - Chicken and Prawn Fried Rice
S - White Lion Bar(only 200 cals!)
Total Cals = 1651
Daily Calorie Limit = 2020
That calorie limit is to lose 1 1/2 pounds per weekSeptember Grocery Challenge £0/£2250 -

I'm a twenty something too Theatregirl.27. Although today I feel more like 77 as I can hardly walk. I tried an exercise video on Sunday, No More Trouble Zones and I have to say my thighs are not happy about it. I'm supposed to do it again today but not sure as am having trouble just sitting down!
Stay determined Theatregirl, you can do it!
Ellie and Dragon huge congratulations on reaching your target. :j:j0 -

Oh I wish I was 20 something again!
From reading your daily menus I thought you had a bit of chocoholic-ness going on
I know it's possible to lose weight and keep eating chocolate, but if you're getting stuck, have you considered cutting it out for a bit? Don't tell yourself you've given it up, just say to yourself "I won't have any TODAY, so your brain thinks you might have some tomorrow :rotfl:
I don't want to sound preachy, and I certainly haven't beaten wanting to eat chocolate, but I'm trying...haven't had a chocolate bar since the start of this challenge, and I know it's helped my weight loss.
theatregirl - just wanted to add - my aim this year is to get to the point where I don't even want chocolate any more. I'm 51 now, and if I'd done that in my 20s I probably wouldn't have spent much of my life having to lose weight...if I'd got my weight under control in my 20s it would have made SUCH a difference to my life. Now I'm taking the long view, I don't want to spend my 50s and 60s still struggling with weight. I wish I'd had this epiphany in my 20s instead of my 50s.

Sorry I've not been around much everyone, I am still here and rooting for you all! Just trying to STS now until after my wedding otherwise my dress won't fit. However I have a long way to go still and the next challenge for me will be about getting to a healthy enough weight to start thinking about having a baby! So once I am back from honeymoon mid April I will be right here in the next challenge with you all!
Hope everyone is doing ok xx0 -
I'd quite like to join in this as well, not got too much to lose, but I have a job with funny hours and I'm noticing the squidgey creep going on. Was somewhere around 10st (and aiming for 9 1/2) when I started the job, now just under 11. Having had a weekend of illness I'm bound to weigh less now, but not exactly sure!
I'd like to join in the next challenge, got a wedding (attending via work, but won't curb the eating!) and my birthday next week so there is absolutely no point before then, the gain would just ruin all your hard work! Will also get a fairly accurate starting figure before that, I don't have scales at home, but there are some at work - does mean I'll have to do it with clothes and after breakfast, which isn't ideal, but I'll make sure to do it at the same time each week.
Also - another 20 something here! 24, 25 on Monday!0 -
