Thanks officeguru.
I think I was most annoyed because it wasn't very good, the fish was tasteless and the chips were greasy. I still think I want takeaway (it's meant to be a treat), but the reality is the anticipation is much better than actually eating the food...is that weird?and even though it wasn't very good, because I'd paid for it, I still ate it. I think I still have a few food issues to think about
And I forgot all about the bread and butter...amateur :rotfl:
I finished it off with a chocolate digestive, the scales will tell all tomorrow.

A very late post for Thursday
B - spicy fruity porridge
L - 1/2 chicken breast, tablespoon mash, leeks, gravy
D - veg casserole and jacket
S - apple, grapes, melon, 1/2 nana
E - cleaned through upstairs and the stairs. Was going to do downstairs but bellows had had enough by then
Sleep tight0 -
Theatregirl - probably a combination. I know that when I get dizzy i also get anxious and you have had a very stressful week - hope you feel better soon xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Well this week has been diabolic for weight loss.
I have gained 2.5 lb.
work has been mega stressful and despite best laid plans for health food for lunch I have ended up eating out at lunch time on business plus having lodger means I was cooking for dinner and so eating again.
Plus wine, lots and lots as had unexpected guest for one night, plus have missed my trip away today so fed up and gave in to a whole bottle last night.
Totally fed up, still none the wiser until post arrives about DH and the R issue and all that food didn't really help did it?
So I am taking myself in hand, as soon as I have got DH back to docs or to hospital as he is really unwell and deteriorating (more stress) I will sort out the bloody food cupboards and get rid of the crap that has accumulated there so temptation is GONE! And I will be better. Work is my nemesis and I need to sort out lunch there more effectivelyStart info Dec11

I may need to join you on this! I had a baby 9 weeks ago and have quite a bit of baby weight still to lose, plus the non baby weight I was already carrying! I'm breastfeeding which I'd been relying on to shift it but it's not working. I've got a much bigger appetite, plus being in the house a lot more is causing me to snack loads.
I was going to a diet club up till about 6 months into the pregnancy but don't want to go back, I want to try to do it myself, save the weekly fee and not be getting worked up by weigh in day. I shouldn't really be cutting back majorly as it could affect my milk, I just want to be healthier and get into good habits so that when I stop breastfeeding I don't pile on crazy amounts of weight.
I've also got a holiday in 3 months that I'd love to have lost some for, plus I'd like to be a healthy weight for my next pregnancy, and I don't want my daughter growing up with me being overweight.0 -
Pleased to report a 1lb loss this week
Haven't had any cheese, it's been sooooo hard! (Not having any, not the cheese ha ha) but I got through the week without going to the fridge and cutting a bit off. Also been pushing myself to move more, again hard but like it or not it's good for me.
Out to lunch today but that's okay, Friday is my 'eat what I like' day after weigh-in. Will still make sensible choices though, so I can have a pud if there's something on the menu which appeals.
Good luck all, back later with my dietary sins0 -
Morning Folks
Yet another STS week for me.
I think I’ve got stuck in a rut as far as the food and portions I’ve been eating – I don’t tend to snack between meals and have cut out about 75% of the carbs that I used to eat. I’ve never been one to weigh things and count calories but in order to get a handle on things and break the routine I had fallen into I finally signed up to MFP this week and according to it I am not eating enough, but I haven’t been hungry and don’t really want to force myself to eat for the sake of it. Some days I’m just not hungry for breakfast (I know, I know) so have to force myself to eat something.
So starting today I’m putting my planned meals in first thing to see what’s left then eat and adjust accordingly. I will start putting it on here again and welcome any comments you may have – Oh I wish Rosewood would come back I used to love reading her meal plans and got lots of ideas from her.
Today’s plan
B – 0% Greek Yoghurt, raspberries.
S – Banana
L – Meeting a friend in town so likely to be a bought Egg Sandwich + a bit of fruit.
D – Mini Onion Bhajias x 5 would normally only have 3, hm spicy tomato sauce, about 200g of steamed vegetables.
According to MFP that leaves me enough cals for a glass of wine tonightJan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Grocery spends = £119.54
Aug - Grocery spends = £42.190 -
Morning all
Very very quick post as I have to go see to the bunnies - Milka has a upset tummy and its not very pleasant, bleurgh.
Would like to report an STS this week however.0 -
Reporting a 1 lb loss this week. I know it could have been more (because I have sneaky weigh ins during the week
) but at least it's going in the right direction.
I think I have to be strong willed like sparrer, and cut out the cheese...I knew it was high calorie, but actually read the label last night, didn't realise it was THAT high
(Oh, and cut out the fish and chip takeaways, of course :rotfl:)

Hi Dragon, I lost a kilo this week so that's 2 lb off ... I must be doing something right ... :A
But I won't be getting complacent.... it's too easy to put it all on again !!
Good luck everyone... :beer:0
