Hello Dragon
Have to report an STS this week .0 -
I'm seriously thinking about selling my bm as I have no control when it comes to fresh bread and I'm sure that was the cause of my +1 this week. I've got too lax, and I've started baking again which I love doing but I have to eat it! Time for a shake-up, just hope I can stick to it now
Hi Sparrer
I popped onto the forum and read your post...
Don't sell your breadmaker... I love homemade bread and, like you, it's easy to eat a lot.. so as soon as I can, I slice it up and freeze it ... That way, I still have my bread but it is not so convenient to munch my way through it... :A
I hope this helps...0 -

Here's hoping that we do....
Well done on your weight loss... I am going back to my homemade soup this coming week as that was when I fairly shifted the weight...
See you Monday.... :A0 -
Oh I have the same issue with HM bread ..... I am quite capable of scoffing a whole loaf (small size) before it has properly cooled! Ahem back to being good and not baking breadStart info Dec11

Tomorrow is duvet day for me, then next week not only do I have the results of my interview, but also we have Priscilla QotD on at the theatre. I will be working eight shifts in total, and we are almost sold out all shows, total 1000-1500 people every show, thats 10k+ people by the end of the week. Insane! :eek:0 -

OG I think I'll have to try to be strong and do that, I'd be really disappointed to lose the bm. I only made the loaf because the DGC came for lunch and it 'didn't occur to me' to freeze what they left for another day. For now though it's put away at the back of a cupboard and so difficult to get out I'm concerned about dropping it, so there it will stay. For now...
missrlr that's just what I did. And didn't confess on here because I knew I was guilty. Was only cheating myself, from now on I will have to be brutally honest.
B - spicy fruity porridge, sk milk. I make a big pan of it and put it into marg tubs when cool, weighed out to 6oz per tub. Funny how I never go over that even though I love it, yet I love hm bread too and had no resistance against it? Odd...
D - tba, going to DD's for a family get together for Mothers Day
T - ditto
S - need call in to Mr M on the way as all I have in the fruit bowl is a manky apple and two oranges which are a devil to peel
E - was going to the football match before dinner but as it's so cold me bellows get a reprieve and I go straight to DD's house later
Happy Mothering Sunday to all who have, are, or will be a Mother0 -
Right ladies, I am firmly back on the wagon as of NOW!
I've gone back to myfitnesspal and readjusted my target to another 7lbs and have restarted my exercise campaign. Did the Shred and lots of walking yesterday and have just done the Shred again this morning. A big dog walk planned for later too.
I'm aiming for 1250 cals a day - it worked last time so no reason it won't work again for me if I stick to it.
Time to get a grip!;)0 -
Really struggling to behave myself this afternoon!
It's mothers day, and I feel like pampering myself...it's snowing on and off, and it's cold out...I want to sit at the fire and watch a film and eat lots of chocolate.
Unfortunately, treating myself still means high calorie food in my mind. I suppose the one upside to convincing myself that I don't eat chocolate is there's none in the house, so even though I really feel like some, I'm not going out in the cold to get it.
Luckily my kids didn't produce any...one is cleaning my car as his "gift", the other is at his girlfriends and hasn't been seen all day (which is probably why I want to treat myself - if you want something doing "do it yourself" right? :rotfl:)
oh, and the son at home thought he'd help by emptying the dishwasher...I happened to walk in just as he was picking the broken plates up off the floor...don't ask... :rotfl:
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Afternoon all
Have been a good daughter and given DM a big box of rum truffles, 2 small bars of marzipan and a small bar of chocolate truffle, plus some body shop lotion and talc. :A
Having a duvet day but also got some bits done - cleaned out bunnies, hoovered, put washing away and a large load of 'dark' clothes in to wash, plus some shredding that needed doing. Popped out to get some bits from our outdoor freezer for the indoor one as it was running low.
Not much else going on, just relaxing before cooking dinner tonight.
b - (small tin) beans on toast, no butter. jam doughnut
l - microwave rice with 2 x tortilla wraps
s - rest of packet popcorn with a mini dairy milk bar
d - chicken breast w/ salad, 2 x tortilla wraps and remaining onion rings in freezer, shandy
s- arctic roll ice cream
happy mumsy day to all mothers :T0
