Congrats to all who've lost or STS, well done.

I am very pee..ed off this morning - have to report a gain of 3 lb.
I knew this would be a bad eating week for me, lots of birthday celebrations, it's up there with xmas week in our house. BUT, I had 3 "good" days in the week, and by still keeping a rough count of calories I expected to put on one pound, not 3! I haven't eaten enough to put on 3! (Can you tell I'm not happy? :) )

Was very tempted to not post, and wait for next Friday, but decided I have to admit it out loud, and start again...

And it's snowing AGAIN...don't cha just love winter!

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
  • W.T.G on the job!!!! That is wonderful news.

    Morning all, welcome frankerooney :)

After a bit of a struggle with exercise this week I'm declaring another 1/2lb loss, at this rate I'll reach goal well after everyone else...call me tail end Charlie :D

Yesterday I took what I thought was the last tub of porridge out of the freezer only to find on defrosting it that it was cheese sauce! Hence the cauli cheese for dinner yesterday. I must label things, I must label things, I must label things.......:o

    B - F&F, sk milk
D - sausage, mushrooms, tomato, sweet potato wedges, dry fried egg
    T - 3 Crackerbread, 1xVegemite, 1xrf cheese&pickle, 1xmarmalade
S - grapes, melon, apple, satsuma
E - as usual but must make extra effort during the coming week, to see if I can make a whole pound next time!

Congratulations losers, commiserations gainers, good effort everyone else :)
  • After gain last week I have kept going with exercise and did an exercise dvd - it's very high energy, to club music. It's very motivating and I felt great that I didn't hurt the day after (yesterday) and was thinking how I must be fitter than I thought. However, I'm aching today - and I planned to do it again today. So, (a) I don't know if pain appearing after 2 days rather than 1 is a good thing and (b) I don't know if I should wait til I stop aching and therefore not do it today - or just crack on despite aches.

Hi everyone. It's a STS for me this week. I'm ok with that though.
Best of luck everyone. And thanks to Dragon for keeping score.
  • Morning all it's a STS for me too, not that surprised I'll blame it on the weather.
But onwards and upwards (well downwards in weight !) will be good next week, and well done everyone who has managed to lose some.

    Hi everyone,

It must be the week for it, but I have STS aswell. We also had birthday celebrations this week, so after two 3 course meals that were not exactly low calorie, I'm just happy it wasn't a gain. Also haven't done much exercise other than walking and spring cleaning, I also had a couple of glasses of wine.

New week today, so hopefully will be reporting a loss next week.

Good luck to those of you still to declare & well done to those who have lost.

Hi everyone. I've been wanting to join you all since the new year but with no internet I've found it difficult accessing Old Style.

I'm saddened that over the festive period I've found my size 16's getting tight. The prospect of having to buy my first size 18 item frightens me. I need to get a grip with this for my healths sake.

My plan is to calorie count and look into low calorie family meals.

The worst part is that I struggled to lose weight when walking miles per day. I now have a car so doing even less exercise. I am frightened for my future health now. I've gone from being a bit plump to not being able to control weight gain. I think as I get older it will be more difficult to shift.

I will weigh tomorrow and see where I am. I would like to loose 2lbs this week.
