Hi everyone, was meant to weigh in this weekend but didn't as I got my monthly visitor so have bloated up like no ones business and craving all the refined carbs and chocolate that I could get my hands on! Going to be optimistic and say that I stayed the same but will definitely try harder this week!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170

Thank you! Just eat a variety of foods, homecooked is best really. I never calorie counted or cut out carbs or anything like that, I just made sure that the majority of my food was as good for me as possible, so that every meal counted. If I wanted a ' treat' ie a biscuit or packet of crisps I would limit it to a small amount that I knew I could easily work off in exercise. Portion control is key for me.
As for exercise - lots of walking, swimming, cycling and some weights and things like squats and pushups.
I'm not an athlete by any means but I' m in quite good health for my age (52), normal BP and blood results etc, and only a couple of pounds off my ' normal' weight. Plus, I' m quite pleased with the appearance of my body - very little loose skin or ' saggy bits' due to all the exercise.
Awwww thank you for this! What an inspiration you are! :T I will follow your advice as of NOW! Thanks again! :j:j Started my weightloss journey, its neverending!! :j

sparrer and Molly41 - both trolls, reported. Please remember this is a weight loss thread not a place for you to harass other members.
Well done everyone on the weight loss! I stepped on the scales yesterday and it's encouraging to see that I lost another 5lbs since Christmas!
I don't think you understand the concept of what a troll is!0
