  • Morning all,

Hope everyone had a good wekend :)

thanks for letting me join in :) i would like to loose 14lb in 12 weeks.

i will get on the scales on a sat.

today will only be tea as i was in a rush this morning and forgot me food:mad:
  • Oh crikey, today has arrived, the batteries are charging for me to do my 1st weigh in.
I was originally 12st7lb, I lost a huge amount and went down to 9st. Now it's been creeping on and on and I am (I am guessing) around the 10st mark. I really dont want to head up to the 10st + weight. It took a lot of hard work to get off. I have a before and after pic if anyone wants spurring on.
Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!
  • Morning all, first proper day for me, all crisps (my downfall) consumed. Lots of alcohol left but no more drinking during the working week. Have overindulged so currently that doesn't feel too much of a hardship.
    B - none (haven't been up long!)
L - scrambled egg on toast
D - HM pizza (change from meal plan already and bit high on calories but lovely and need to use up mozarella)
E - it's peeing down and need to clean the house. Will play on the wii later with my girls. I'm so unfit that I find this exhausting!
  • Ellie99 - love your sig! I also need reminding that i'm not a dog , or a bin!

    Morning everyone,

Have just had to weigh myself as we are going skiing in half term and the ski hire place need height and weight. It's in kg though so my jelly brain can't work out if I'm higher or lower than Friday :o

    Today's food:

    B - small banana, coffee
L - probably scrambled eggs on 2 x wm ww toast
D - pork chop topped with sauteed mushrooms, mini roasties, broccoli, green beans
    S - tba

Just to add to the choccie debate.....I was given a box of Maltesers by DS2 for Christmas. They taste so much better out of a box don't you think? I think I'll bag them up in small portions and freeze them for when the need arises.

I find it pretty depression how people are discussing chocolate in a weight loss thread. No wonder people in this country struggle so much to lose weight..

Afternoon all! Starting to feel some aches in the stomach region from the sit ups I did at the gym yesterday. Think I need to be a bit harder on myself at the gym actually, I don't think I'm putting all the effort in that I should be.

    Food wise, today is looking like;

    B - Bran flakes with 1% milk
    S - Banana
L - HM Lentil Soup with HM bread roll
S - Low fat peach yogurt
    D - Veg Fajitas

I'm sorry you feel that way.
For some of us, weight loss is not as simple as just using willpower to always eat the "correct" things. It's about identifying our problem areas...in my case emotional eating in reaction to some things that have happened in my past...learning to deal with and accept those things, and improving my eating habits as well.
On a simpler level, most homes have got a fair bit of chocolate lying around after christmas, and it can be very tempting.
If you've read my previous posts, you would see that although I have mentioned chocolate, I haven't eaten any! So the support and encouragement on this forum is working!
You obviously know what works for you, but don't knock what helps other people.

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

B - 2 pieces toast with Tesco Cheese & Garlic spread, banana, 1L water

L - Roasted chicken on salad leaves, low fat mayo. Apple. 2L Water spread out over the next 5 hours

    The spread is surprisingly healthy.
