    What is the "B L D" things you guys are saying?

    Just tucking into some roasted chicken - lots of pepper and chilli - with low fat mayo. Has served me well for low-calorie protein intake :)

    Down to 89kg now. 9kg (1.5 stone) lost in ~47 days* (although I didn't really had a definite day when I started exercising and dieting so take the days figure with a pinch of salt).

    I don't know where to stop. Maybe when I get down to around 83kg I'll start eating a bit more and will balance out at my equilibrium hopefully.

    Good luck to all MSE members! Weight loss can be both incredibly difficult and incredibly easy.. I still haven't decided.

    Hi simmed

    B = Breakfast
    L = Lunch
    D = Dinner
    T = Tea
    S = Snacks
    E = Exercise

    As a guide you need look at a BMI chart which will tell you what your body weight should be for your height. Just google BMI

    Does anyone know if we weigh in on a certain day in he week or do we do it when we want?

    I Think it's Friday /Saturday as challenge started on Sat.

    Just caught up with everyone's posts from the weekend, some great tips and ideas for menu planning, thanks.

    In the debate on chocolate, I have to totally give it up, which I have to admit I have failed to do yet, it's Day 2 and I've already been tempted :mad::mad::mad: I was given a range of delicious chocs for christmas - one of those Giant red Lindt balls, full of those gorgeous Lindor truffles - 42 in total, which I managed to make disapear all by myself.:eek: But that was before the challenge started so doesn't count in my head.
    A large box of malteasers - I have since given to friend for birthday gift, so although I love malteasers, that temptaion has now gone.
    A box of Thorntons - still sitting in spare room, hopefully still there for another birthday gift in early Feb.
    A box of 20 choc truffles - embarrassed to say these were opened earlier in the week and partly eaten, but the last few left are causing me problems and have sabotarged my great start.

    I have been working over the weekend, which helps me resist eating when I shouldn't, but Mon - Friday I'm home with my son, so it will be more difficult. Also I haven't done any major exercise over the weekend either, so will make an effort this week to at least do some walking.
    I also intend to re-join MFP, to track my cals, as I'm hopeless if I don't record everything I eat.

    We are thinking about booking our holl, so have added incentive now to stick to this.
    Good luck to all this week.

    Thanks sparrer!

    I have had way more calories today than I normally do :(, oh well, lots of protein

    Come on jovi! Give them up, you can do it. What helped me give things up was comparing the calories: what would I rather have, a few small chocolates = or an entire pot of natural greek yoghurt with honey? A few small chocolates or an entire plate of tuna salad with mayo? etc..

    Unfortunately, I'd prefer to have a lot of small chocolates AND and entire plate of tuna salad etc :rotfl:

    I've managed to get through the weekend without any alcohol and chocolate. whoop whoop! It is difficult at times as it's such a part of my routine to treat myself.

    I also had a lovely walk in the mild sunshine yesterday (felt like Spring!), and worked on my allotment on Saturday so I got some fresh air and exercise, too!

    Go me!! :T

    While I have a long term goal of no chocolate or alcohol in January, I find that blows my mind a bit, so I'm trying to just look at today or this hour, if necessary. That seems to be working at the moment.

    Good luck for this week, everyone!

    LB xx

    Regarding the alcohol I have decided no more in Jan with the exception of 19th which is staff party and frankly I wont go berserk but will have the champagne on arrival and a glass or 2 with the meal.

    Regarding chocolate, I have 2 T0bler0nes left, but checking the BBE date I have until this time next year to consume so one triangle a day for me!v

    Am I the only person who isn't bothered by chocolate? I fancied some recently, bought a big bar because it was half price, broke it down into pieces of 4 squares and put it in the freezer. So far I've broken one 4 in half and eaten 2 squares iyswim, then promptly forgot all about it (waiting for the stampede of OSweight loss members!). On the other hand if I don't have cheese regularly I get withdrawal symptoms! :D

    B - spicy fruity porridge, sk milk
    L & D tba, depends if DD and I have lunch out while we're shopping

    Have a sunny day whatever the weather :)

    Chocolate and I do go through fits and bursts of requirements, we are currently entering into a "meh" phase

    Cheese and I have a similar relationship, and I was not fussed for the past few months but it may take over from chocolate

    I know exactly what's wrong with how I think about chocolate (should I even be talking about it so much? feel like I should be talking about lettuce on a dieting forum :)).
    Chocolate is my "go to" food when I'm feeling empty inside, to try and fill that hole...not hungry, just empty because there's something missing in my life. Most recently it was after a nasty break up...so as well as being on my own after breaking up, I also put on weight, yuk!
    I'm no longer willing to waste all those calories, so from now on - I don't eat chocolate!

    If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
