Afternoon All
Congratulations on reaching your target Welsh Woofer. I weighed 9 and a half stone this morning but at only 5 foot definitely need to lose half a stone or more to get back to where I feel good. Congratulations too to Theatre Girl on the job and anyone else I may have missed.
I've been busy using leftovers this morning. We had a special event on at work and had a load of leftover sandwiches last night. I brought home the cheese ones and the ham ones and have made a savoury bread and butter pudding with them which is now in the freezer.
B: Mandarin oranges
L: Chicken thigh with roasted pepper and green beans (including the last few HG ones that DH found yesterday when clearing the garden) in a cheesy sauce.
T: (Pack up for work) Prawn mayonnaise salad - with HG leaves, sprouted mustard seeds, cucumber, tomato, beetroot and mixed seeds. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
Snack: Maybe a couple of squares of very dark chocolate.
Exercise: 6 mile run. 2 miles of walking.

1lb off this week so I'm officially there:)
The scale actually wavered at 2 lbs off but finally settled at 1lb off - this happened 3 times so I'm happy its a true reading.
To celebrate I'm having a pizza and a glass of wine:o
Will be good tomorrow .....
Well done!WelshWoofer wrote: »Its all off for now - his dad got rushed into hospital today and it sounds quite serious so understandly we're postponing it.:(

Well done :T0 -
Thank you for all the thank you's - I'm still not fully aware of it and feel like it was all a dream, probably because I had to wait a extra week for the result! As a ex work colleague of mine said to me on FB last night - about time I had some good news!
Hopefully now my cravings to eat all the time will stop - although I am going out to celebrate, Mum said I could pick anywhere I liked....so I asked her to take me to Burger King. Bacon&cheese 1/4 pounders, chips, diet cola and ice cream....THATS my way of doing it, so much style! :rotfl: But thats in a couple of weeks as we are quite hectic here. :A
mealplan for today
b- quaker microwave porridge
l - 4 x crumpets (to use up) with butter.
d - portion of tomato and mozz pasta bake, with individual deep filled garlic bread...thing.
s- taking a special k bar with me to work, also probably have a ww chocolate mini roll in a minute (got a crumpety taste in my mouth and its grossing me out a little bit).
e- walked to local shops and back for groceries.0 -
Well done Welsh Woofer on reaching your target :T
And great news Theatre girl :T
I have to report that I have gained 2lbs  which puts me back to where I started! I knew I hadn't been very good while we were away, but obviously hadn't realised how bad I was
Well onward and upward as they say. Back on the wagon.
My plan is to only have my main meals with sensible portions - breakfast, lunch, dinner, and keep any snacks, i.e. a SpK bar or something for supper. Drink more water instead of juice and no cakes or biscuits.
What do you reckon girls? Is it doable?2025 Fashion on the ration

Mrs CD definitely doable. One of my tricks is to have my lunch and breakfast combined something filling like two eggs and 3 pieces of toast and then my tea more often than not a chicken salad, lots of water and fruit if I need it and then something snacks with a brew maybe a couple of biscuits. It seems to be working for me. Good luck:DStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Hi Folks, some great losses :T – I’ve been noting them to pass on to The Dragon and she will post the list when she returns from her weekend away.
Congratulations Theatregirl – I hope this is the first of many positives for you
Welsh Woofer – I’m 5ft 5½ inches and trying to get down to 9½ stone, but these last 3 – 4lbs are really elusive at the moment – wish I had you’re motivation for exercise, unfortunately I don’t have the knees or ankles for running. Some 25-30yrs ago I pretty consistently weighed 9st 4lbs and felt really comfortable at that but some people thought I was a bit too thin for my height. Before I started this challenge I had crept up to 11st but my problem is I am apple shaped so my arms and legs always look slim even though I’ve got a muffin-top that would fear you!! I would suggest if you are comfortable at the weight you have reached just try to maintain it – you will know your own body and a bit of sensible eating now and again with some exercise should do it.
Anyway for me todays meals have been reasonable and I’ve gone back to eating what I want and when my body tells me, started off with some stewed fruit first thing then had a bacon and egg roll late morning and that has kept me going most of the day.
A pear was had about 3pm but discovered that some of them were getting a bit over-ripe so found a recipe on BBC GoodFood Website for a Pear, hazelnut & chocolate cake – it is still sitting untouched on the kitchen table…..honest, but it smells gorgeous and looks beautiful all glazed with apricot jam but unfortunately 470cals per portion :eek:, a bit will be had later with a cuppa whilst watching Strictly – but the rest will be frozen. Off to have some fish, parsley sauce, Brussels & green beans.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

'Lo everyone
Sorry for checking in late - I have a note as I was at Radio 2 all day yesterday answering the phones for people donating money for Children in Need. Over the day, we took about £255,000 so hope you'll let me off!
I did weigh in before I left and have lost 1lb (+ a little bit but I'll save that for next week!)
Hopefully any calories consumed while we were answering the phones won't count - there were an awful of chocs and crisps floating around!0 -

Working again tomorrow night, so will try to have a hot meal for lunch and take something light with me to have on my break.
