Awwww girls thank you so much for the kind words! :) I know I mustn't give up, I keep feeling my tummy and it makes me feel disgusting...I don't want to feel like this on my wedding day in April! I spoke to OH on the phone last night (he is away on business in Paris) and he agreed we definitely need to get back on track and he will help me. I find my willpower crumbles to nothing if he is not reminding me with a stern word, so I am glad he will be back on board to help.

Now the big decision...what shall I have for breakfast?! :)

Hugs daisie. What a lovely OH you have to be so supportive , and you have our support too because I'm sure all of us have felt demoralised at times, I know I have. It passes, honest :)

B - spicy, fruity porridge, sk milk
L - chunky leek & potato soup. Was a bit bland so I added a teeny pinch of chilli powder - no longer bland . Also put some crispy fried bacon bits in, had a quick taste last night and it's very yummy, definitely one to keep me warm on cold days
D - grilled pork rib, broad beans, jacket with rf spread and yogurt
    S - satsuma, nana, plums
    E - step/stretch, housework

Didn't have pineapple yesterday and didn't have bloating :D. Shame though as fresh pineapple is one of my favourites and this one is huge, enough for about 8 portions. Lucky neighbour.

Have a good day, stick with the winners - The Dragon is certainly one of those this week! :)

    Dragon, :j:j:jWELL DONE
Daisiegg, so pleased you are staying. If you are feling unwell, then please be kind to yourself. Sending hugs, and a big rope, tie it around your middle and pass the end back. We will hold on tight to the end, so you dont fall off the wagon.:)

I'm fighting with my conscience this morning, back to work tomorrow so planning a big cook this morning to fill up the freezer with healthy meals for the next few days. There will be a space in the oven that is not used and normally I would make a cake. Like daisiegg and others, baking is my stress relief, and I'm finding it soo hard not baking.
Now do I fill the space in the oven, very OS, with a yummy ginger cake or do I stick to my diet?

B: usual hf cereal with pear & mango
L: dry fried garlic mushrooms on one toast, and 2 cheese triangles
D: hm soup, BBQ pork chop, roast veg and brocolli
S: yoghurt, banana and 1 oatcake with peanut butter
    Ex: dog walking

Hope everyone has a bright and sunny day.
Success is a journey, not a destination

    Morning Everyone,

Well done Dragon, what a result :T:T

I did succumb to a little “comfort” eating yesterday and indulged myself with a couple of custard creams and a mug of 0valtine (made with water not milk so not quite the 197cals it suggested on the label) As a result I’ve now added another don’t to my list of when not to go shopping – don’t go when I’m hungry, don’t go when I’m tired, don’t go when I’m in a hurry and now don’t go when I’m hungover.

Trying for a damage limitation kinda day =
    B – Yoghurt & stewed plums
L – Cauliflower Soup, toast (yah...got some bread at last)
D – Cheese & Tuna Bake, green beans, sweetcorn
    Fruit for snacks

I love fresh pineapple too although they have a similar effect on me but I got 2 huge ones (bogof) at sainsbobs last week, one got chopped up and put in the freezer. I just make sure I don’t eat too many other acidic foods on the same day and that seems to reduce the effect.

I don't think I need to see a dr or anything, I am unwell with labyrinthitis at the moment and OH is very stressed at work and I think I have a touch of the winter blues - it's just a combination of all those things. I'm sure when my physical health is sorted (and I am feeling better each day) my mental health will follow. Yesterday I spent half an hour sitting on the floor in one of the spare bedrooms crying because we have too many suitcases!!! Talk about first world problems :rotfl: at least I can laugh at myself.

Labyrinthitis is an awful condition and will definitely be getting you down - I hope you are feeling better soon.

Suitcases – me too and unfortunately not a set so they don’t fit inside one another – but one in particular has become my favourite as it stores all the clothes that I will get back into……..one of these days :D.

LittleMoog - nice to see that you are still keeping an eye on us - all the best for next week and hope it goes smoothly :)

just realised I didnt post yesterday so here we go:

    yesterday
b- 2 slices wm toast with cheese.
l- half round of a beef sandwich (1 slice bread), velvet crisps.
    d- kfc fillet burger + chips :D
t- (about 11pm) ready meal/prepped portion of pasta with cheesy type sauce and bacon.
s- 1/4 pack of Cadbury Tasters, individual twirl bar.

    today
b - 2 slices wm bread with cheese (I WILL use up this bread in the cupboard...I shall do it!)
l - yellow haddock, cooked from frozen, with a portion of salad.
d- ready meal/prepped portion of pasta with cheesy sauce, bacon pieces, and chicken pieces.
s- handful of Cadbury's clusters. Special K blueberry bar.

been a manic day and a bit. yesterday was my unmentioned interview! the company I currently work for is due to be recruiting over the panto season and they have team leader vacancies coming up - and more than 1 slot! Although I went for the interview, and I have some management experience from both previous jobs and my technical training at Uni - once I got in the room my head just became a pile of fluff!
I walked out feeling okay, and didnt have any nerves whatsoever - mostly because I know the guy who was interviewing me, he's been my manager for over a year and transferred to this venue just after I did. But ever since then, this has been replaced with the feelings of "oh my god that was awful" and "what did I actually say in response to the questions?" - a sure sign that it was so bad I am already blocking it out!

Ah well, will have answers by the end of the week, will just have to go on wondering until then.

    happy thursday all. x

You can imagine how I felt and the poor Furry Dragon (tm) must have wondered what was happening with all the squeals from the bathroom :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm having a complete mental meltdown this week, I am eating so much, I think I have gained about half a stone...and I feel no desire to change that, I am tired of it all, I just want to eat, and I keep crying for no reason and I want to do nothing except hide under a duvet in my pyjamas (oh and eat!)

Oops, I forgot this is weight loss thread and not 'let out all your craziness' thread! Sorry ladies. I have hugely fallen off the wagon and I don't even want to get back on right now :(

Huge huggles and I hope you are feeling better and grabbing that wagon soon!

lobbyludd spicy porridge is really quite simple, this is for a big pan which lasts me 4/5 days - it's just 2 mugs of porridge oats made with a kettle full of boiled water, a teasp of mixed spice or cinnamon, and a handful of sultanas/raisins/chopped apricots/whatever dried fruit you fancy. Bring to the boil then turn right down to just simmer for as long as possible, I leave mine on low for about an hour. No need for sugar but if you like it sweeter then a chopped banana, apple, pear etc on top gives it a little extra sweetness. Tasty!

L - Jacket potato with tuna, mayo and sweetcorn, cherry tomatoes
D - Mexican mince (lean mince, chopped toms, sweetcorn, chill and cumin topped with nachos and a little grated cheese), mini roasties, green beans

    Have a great day everyone.
