Hello everyone, :hello:
Am definitely finding it easier to avoid snacking due to this thread (looked at the twix again and had no desire to eat it!).
Yesterday:
B - 2 x wm toast, butter, an awful lot of marmite, 2 x tea.
L - Probiotic yoghurt. Grapes. Lots more tea.
D - Egg (fried in o.oil, oops), crab stick, baked beans, dry-roasted wedges. Spring water.
S - Cream-sandwich type biscuit, glass of sk milk with 5 x ginger biscuits.
Ex - Gardening, light outdoor constructing, short dog-walk.
Something I've been meaning to ask: What is a "pink and white" please? :think:0 -
Okay got something I need to run past you wonderful people, I am a slightly confused Dragon at the moment, I weighed in yesterday morning (in the buff
, after the loo
and first thing
) and got a weight. Now the confusing bit, I had to go for an MRI scan on my beggared shoulder and neck last night (well late afternoon/early evening) and so this was after breakfast, lunch and a snack, I was dressed in yoga pants, undies (a pull on soft bra so I could keep wearing it ), a t-shirt, cardi, socks and trainers - and they had to weigh me - now bear in mind the time difference, clothes and food and I was 10 POUNDS lighter :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: - now my home scales have been saying low battery for a couple of weeks - so do I take the hospital data as my weight currently :undecided:huh::undecided:huh:
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

I think quite a few of us use that
I could never get on with it myself and I use nutracheck, which is not free, but works for me. I say 'I use'...I haven't in about a week
Ah hadn't heard of that one before , might give it a try after ive completed 8 weeks on this one I'm on , think my main problem prior to having the app was my portion sizes and what I considered healthy turned out not to be so healthy:(#1799 sealed moneypot challenge- target £500 s/f £378

That's bizarre! I'm sorry, I have no advice, as I really wouldn't know what to think! Let's hope the lighter weight is accurate?! :rotfl:0 -
wow - I don't know what has happened to me, I have been eating like a woman possessed (by a cookie monster
). The last week and a half I have been apaulling eating-wise and I'll be very lucky if I manage to limit the damage to 1 or 2 lbs gain this week, on top of the 4lbs last week.
so to try and get back on track - here's what i have eaten today (which has been good so far):
lunch - pea and ham soup
snacks 200g raspberries, and 10kcal jelly.
tea will be an omlette:AA/give up smoking (done)0 -
Something I've been meaning to ask: What is a "pink and white" please?
As far as I'm aware these are the pink wafers you can get

Another productive day. Spent the morning decluttering my room and also found some flask and toiletries sets that belonged to my dad, so going to have a go at listing those and some other bits and pieces on eBay at some point. Think I may have shed a few pounds going up and down stairs and being so thorough, also whipped round while Mum was out and cleaned bunnies, put rubbish out plus other bits of housework. Pooped now and only a hour before I have to leave for work! :rotfl:
b- 2 slices wm toast with cheese.
l- 2 tortillas filled with sliced beef, dairylea and sliced peppers. (weird but good!) pack of velvet crisps.
d- ready meal; tonight is portioned chili and rice after work.
s- indiv. trifle pot. indiv. fruit and nut bar.0 -
Hi everyone,
Worked today - my DSis owns a tearoom and I will be there on Tuesday through the Winter. Very tempting to pig out on all the cakes, but I was very good. I took lunch with me, which I ate on the drive home, so just survived on a cup of hot choc to stave off the cold
Food today:
B - 2 x crumpets, scraping of marg, hedgerow jam
S - Hot choc with ss milk
L - 2 x WW danish with scraping of mayo, ham
S - pears in natural juice
D - Lamb in natural yog and a jar of patatas bravas sauce, baked in oven, mini roasties, brocolli
E - swept leaves off the tearoom decking, cleaning
Re: pink n whites - they are made by Caxtons and are with the biscuits in T's in a pink packet. They are waffle wafers (like the ice cream wafers) with pink and white mallow in the middle. Less than 2% fat and quite big, so take a while to get through, nomnomnom:rotfl:

Either set of scales (or even both of them) could be out, I wouldn't assume the hospital scales are right. Would suggest you change the battery in your scales and stick to the weight they show. As long as they are consistent if you get on and off them a few times it doesn't really matter if they are a bit out as you can focus on the lbs you lose rather than the exact weight. With a bit of luck yours have been weighing heavy, and if you change the batteries they may weigh you lighter.Old style weight loss challenge, start date 14/7/13, starting wt: 14 st 12, goal 12lb in 11 weeks:
Total weight loss to date: 12lb0 -
Dragon - I'd take the lowest weight as gospel but thats just me:rotfl:
Not had a bad day apart from the Twirl I've just scoffed - all just about within my cals though so not all bad.
Done just over 3km walking today - not as much as I'd hoped but better than nothing I suppose.
Almost a third of the way to the total now.:)0
