Ho Hum, was it scarlet o'hara who said.....tomorrow is another day
Yes, Scarlet O’Hara’s words but that’s where the similarity ends – I've never had or likely to have an 18 inch waist :eek:Carrot and ginger soup is very nice, but I haven't tried it with parsnips in as well.
Oooooh…..now that sounds tasty and definitely appeals to my taste buds – do you have a recipe to share?Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

I have been missing for a number of weeks, we've had no internet at home and I haven't had chance at work
I haven't been weighed since I last weighed in either (about 3 weeks ago)
I have recently signed up to Myfitness app as I really need to get to grips with portion sizes and what an eye opener!! I think I am currently eating twice as much as I am suppose to be eating ... My allowance to lose 1.5 pounds a week is approx 1600 and when I look at what I have been eating  Work isn't as busy today and no boss tomorrow so I will be googling calories in a few things and making a proper meal plan with the intention of monitoring my portion sizes!! I am also returning to the gym this week as I am still awaiting my consultants appointment
Hope everyone else is doing well given the miserable weather! Lots of hearty stews for me I think!!SW member: 09/01/2014

Dragon I had a sneaky step on the scales this morning, as long as I don't do anything to sabotage what I saw you just might get you wish on Friday :shhh:
B - Spicy, fruity porridge with sk milk
L - Dinner roll with rf yogurt, garlic philly, tomato, cucumber. Dinner roll with rf yogurt & marmalade. fresh fruit salad with rf yogurt
D - Chicken & rice.

E - 2 hours gardening this morning. Gym took a back seat until lungs settle down, definitely better but still not 100%
Grateful for a beautiful if cold day so I could finish what I needed to before it's too cold to do anything in the garden. Like a mire out there though after so much rain, my wellies were sinking in the ground like quicksand!
Stay warm S0 -

Savesummore - hope you're feeling a bit better now? Take it easy, no point in running yourself into the ground.
First day back at work today - it was the GCSE exam day for yr 11 - most seem to think it went ok and have looked at the paper and we seem to have focussed on the right things so fingers crossed.:o I think I get more nervous than the kids!
My legs are very stiff today after yesterday's run (even after lots of stretching afterwards) so only walking today - have managed 4k to add to the 100k challenge total (over quarter of the way there now and its only the 5th). Not too bad for a Monday.
Just got a big pot of leek and potato soup on the stove and will put a few portions in the freezer to keep me on the straight and narrow next week. Doing quite well with the batchcooking thing - building up a little stock of "ready meals" now.0 -
I started off really well this morning, too well. I craved the sweet stuff and give in to chocolate and crisps at lunch time.
I have walked 6 miles today though (post office trip)0
