  • Have lost my weightloss mojo :o

Realised last night that as soon as I get cold I eat. So made sure I kept toasty and warm under furry throw and drank lots of warm tea to try not to snack in the evening. Even put the heating on for a bit ;)

I realise that the last few weeks I have just been listing food I have eaten with no effort to cut back/ cut down, so am hoping that these realisations will help me ... starting today !!! I will be strict with myself :p

    B - cereal & banana
    L - hm soup (no extras !!!)
D - from freezer, leftover sliced pork, mash (no butter) veg & gravy

exercise - am going to walk to BnQ to get some low odour paint for the woodwork/doorframes downstairs, and then paint it. The paint I used yesterday smells so bad I didnt sleep well and have woken with headache and pain in my chest :( I know its the paint as the pain eases when I go downstairs when I cant smell the gloss any more.

Have a good day everyone x

    Thank you
Could I join the OS weight loss thread please?

I have been decluttering today, and looking at old photographs reminds me that I have let the pounds creep on a bit. Ideally I would like to lose 24 lbs, but I think I'll set my initial target a bit lower to motivate me!

I'd love to see a weighing scales reading beginning with 10 stone, rather than 11 stone (it's been about a year.....) I have fluctuated between 11'8 and 11'4 for ages..... :(

    So....inital weight-loss target of 8 lbs by Christmas ( 8 weeks!)

I really need motivation with this. :(

    Hi and welcome :)

8Lbs in 8 weeks is a good 'do-able' target good luck keep posting and we will cheer you on

  • Morning all - I'm another one owning up to a bit of a slip :o

Things started off pretty well yesterday, but went downhill as the day went on…..
    B – Porridge & stewed apples
    L – Leek & Potato Soup
S = 4 squares of dark chocolate, then decided to make a mousse with the rest using 2% greek yoghurt, no egg yolk just white (about 150cals per portion)
D - Veggie Shepherd Pie, mashed swede, cabbage, followed by chocolate mousse & raspberries

As the evening went on 2 large glasses of wine were consumed followed by another chocolate mousse…….weeelll….. it looked so lonely sitting in the fridge by itself.

So no treats for me today, heading out to @ldi need some of their super 6, then plan a much stricter menu for this week :naughty:.
    Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
    July - Grocery spends = £119.54

Morning all - I think its the change in the weather and light levels that's getting to us all - we're all starting to hibernate!

Yesterday wasn't too bad but it could have been much better.
Today is another day though so I'll forget it and start again.

Lots of cleaning and dog walking planned and an exercise DVD - not going to run in the rain today.
Not sure about food yet but think it will revolve around quorn sausages and some left over potato au gratin for tea.

Hope everyone starts to feel better soon. xx

Yesterday I had 4 squares of 85% cocoa chocolate for breakfast, pheasant stew for lunvh (was yellow stickered and lurking at the bottom of my freezer! combined it in the slow cooker with some HM veg soup and leftovers and it's realy tasty but I've no idea on calories!)

8 teeny chicken wings with chili sauce (kids had pizza for movie night)
    could have been worse.

today - breakfast will be scrambled eggs.
    lunch more pheasant stew
dinner - roast pork + veg and bisto gravy rather than HM (roasties for the kids :( only)

snacks - I've got some frozen blackberries that I might have or some cheese.
    :AA/give up smoking (done) :)
  • morning all.

just realised I havent posted for a couple of days, have been trying to be good though. however, won a free chocolate bar on the wrapper of a bar of chocolate I had yesterday. lol!

also wine last night especially was needed - I had to be on radio in the stalls for our performances yesterday (both of them) and in the matinee we had SEVEN wheelchair users, lots of lovely but doddery old ladies (bless) - and in the evening we had not one but TWO groups of very drunk aggressive people, some of who were being aggressive to other members of the audience and some of who were verbally abusive towards me.
when I asked them to 'please stop disturbing other audience members' they turned abusive! so I radioed my manager - who was there to witness much of their behaviour. fortunately they removed themselves in the end - amidst much drunken swearing and cursing my way!

    anyhoooooooo. :D that was fun.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Oh ladies (do we have any gents?) I have been SOOOOOOOO NAUGHTY! I daren't go anywhere near the scales before Friday's weigh in but I feel like I have gained about half a stone - my tummy feels huge and I swear my face looks fatter! I need to be utterly angelic this week. It is half term and my cold is a lot better so I have no excuse not to exercise, even if it's just walking on the treadmill.

Why is it so hard? :( I usually manage to do fine Monday to Thursday and then I'm terrible at the weekend - that means I'm terrible nearly half the week! Oops....... MUST DO BETTER.
