Dont give up!! Im also finding it hard

Me too! Weekend was not great. I need a kick up the bum big style! Going to try and be perfect this week...we'll see.

    Today
B - shredded wheat with soya milk, cup of tea (348) I have been trying this instead of porridge and it really keeps me fuller for longer...I know porridge is meant to be amazing and fill you up but I seem to be starving a couple of hours after having porridge!
S - (throughout the day) banana, apple, raspberries, tea (158)
    L - cup a soup and 2 slices weight watchers bread (180)
D - will be a beef and vegetable stir fry with some noodles (454)

    Total cals - 1182

That's not bad. I'll try and keep it at that and not succumb to a snack later! No exercise today as late home from work but I'll def do some tomorrow on my day off!
  • I just have completely the wrong attitude this week!

B: Potato scones and a banana
L: Bagel with LF cream cheese, 2 apples
D: Sausages, mash (made with a knob of butter) with carrots and peas, roasted peppers, courgette
S: Hand cooked crisps, nutri-grain bar

I will say, although it was cold/dark/late/early start tomorrow, I made the gargantuan effort to go to the gym. Searched for a space for 5 minutes (didn't give up and go home like I wanted to), got in, realised I forgot to pack my trainers this morning. Didn't know whether to laugh of cry!

It's all down hill from here, as I have a sandwich buffet lunch at trainingh for the next 2 days. Have to get the train at 6.30 and will get home at 7.30, so I need to try not to eat out of exhaustion.

B- 3 Weetabix and milk, tea
L- Left over apple crumble and custard from last night (woops...was low fat though made with sweetner and everything!)
D- Tuna jacket potato and salad
S- 1 Ryvita with phili extra light, 1 apple, lots of tea n decaf coffee.

Not a bad day for me. The weekend wasn't too bad either. Fingers crossed for a loss this week!
  • Evening all

Hello to all the newbies

Finished nights for last week this morning, I'm so pleased, now have 2 nights in bed before the next round of shifts start. Work so gets in the way of my life:rotfl:

    Today
    B: hm smoothie
L: 1 slice granary toast, baked beans and scrambled egg (no butter)
D: small bowl of veg soup, fish portion, sweet potato wedges and peas.
No snacks today or exercise, thou have been catching up with housework.

Back to usual exercise tomorrow, funny how I now miss it as opposed to dread doing it.

A very quick post as I am just in from work and really tired. I didn't manage a low carb day at all today, but did do lots of exercise to burn the carbs up.

B: Luxury fruit muesli with extra seeds and raisins.
L: Egg and chips and Coke (DH and I went out to our local cafe) HM chocolate mousse when I got in.
T: (Pack up as I started work early). Prawn mayonnaise salad.
    Snack: Cadbury's fudge

Exercise: 90 minutes upper body work out with friends. 4 mile run. 4 miles of walking.

It has been CARP for me lately, food wise. So here I am back, trying again, tomorrow start of another day and a carb cleanse fortnight. I have done it before, I can do it again.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
