Do we start today?
Weight this morning is 14st 6lb.
I just managed to get to 14st before the summer holidays and my target was to not go above 14st 7lb over the summer so I have managed to keep within it. Now it's time to try to push it down.

Hi Folks,
Started off this new challenge in a real positive frame of mind - dusted off exercise dvd and had a good workout first thing then Oh joy….discovered a fish van that parks up near my local shops, I know it costs more to buy from but its soooo fresh looking compared to the supermarket cr*p and I just haven’t been able to acquire a taste for the frozen stuff.
So treated myself to a dressed crab, enough for lunch today and tomorrow with some salad & crusty brown bread. Also got a nice piece of haddock – so hm fish & chips for tea :jJan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Sept Grocery spends = £304.88
Oct - Grocery spends = £ 16.590 -
Hi all, late today as I've been outside, taking advantage of the fine weather...
B - spicy, fruity porridge. Forgot the spice again, it's just not the same without itso I added a 1/2 teasp sugar and it tasted much better
D - stir-fried turkey, leek, peppers, garlic, tomato puree, on a bed of cous cous. Delicious!
Had forgotten how easy it is to do cous cous and didn't know how much to make as I've not done it for years, since the family was all at home, so I have enough left for another meal
T - not sure but am thinking grated rf cheese and pickle in a wrap and maybe a cup of soup, but am feeling stuffed after a bigger dinner than I planned so will see how I feel later
S - melon, pineapple, kiwi
E - mowed lawn, painted fence, de-weeded front and back patio's
Hope it's sunny where you are0 -
Morning all - I remembered to weigh and have lost 1lb:j That's 22 lbs altogether now - 4 to go to 9 and a half stone:)
I've been working this morning and then been to the park with the dog and then on to the shops to do the grocery shopping. House cleaning next and then a well earned sit down. Another 30 min dog walk is yet to come too.....may well fall down before I sit down today!
Not sure about tea yet but had a Nature Valley bar for brekkie and a bagel with choccy Philly for lunch so not bad so far, need some F&V today though or will end up with scurvy!0 -
Evening All
A quick post as I shall be off to work shortly. DH treated me to lunch out today so I succumbed to a few carbs. Still, I had been running earlier.
Whilst we were out, we visited a garden centre and aquatics shop for DH to purchase bits for his tropical fish tank and I found loads of seeds for sale for 50p per packet. I treated myself to some and currently have a window sill full of microgreens and sprouting seeds to use for salads. Should be ready to harvest within a week.
B: 2 boiled eggs mashed with salt, pepper and butter.
L: Steak and mushroom pie with peas, carrots, cabbage and leeks. HM chocolate mousse when I got home.HM vegetable bake, using up leftovers. I sauteed an onion and garlic in butter, then added grated courgettes from the garden that were past their best, mushrooms, chopped core of yesterdays cabbage, the end of the butternut squash and left over cooked cabbage and carrots from yesterday. I bound them together with a bit of double cream and grated cheese, added salt, pepper and paprika and put in an oven proof dish and topped with cheese. I then baked it for 20 minutes. It tasted lovely although didn't look particularly brilliant. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
Snack: Couple of glasses of full cream organic milk as I bought some reduced to 16p in the supermarket.
Exercise: 5 mile run. About 3 miles of walking.

E - felt a bit better after that so blitzed the house, tidied, washed kitchen and bathroom floor, 4 loads of washing done and ironed straight off the line. Then felt shattered so had a little snooze.
D - Made a fish pie before snooze which was meant to be for lunch tomorrow but CBA to cook chilli burgers tonight so had the fish pie instead. Congratulations WelshWoofer
B - two leftover sausages
L - salad with bread, (horrible) cheese and marmite
S - roast veg and lamb (again) with coffee and cream for pudding
can anyone suggest something nicer than quark that's as fat free as possible? I don't do jam etc. I tried one slice of bread with a bit of branston but I've been low carb for so long that it smacked of pudding!
Have been busy today. I made veggie stock concentrate which is now in the dehydrator so I can powder it. And put 2kg of bullace to steep in a demijohn with 3 bottles of gin, hopefully that'll be yummy for Xmas!Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan

Well I was late getting weighed this week, and I have put on the 2 lbs I had lost before going on holiday
Could have been worse, I suppose.
Anyway, onward and upward for the new challenge.
I, MrsCD, will do my very best to watch my portion sizes and not eat rubbish ( if there is a thing for holding your hand up like a promise, imagine it here)
Hope everyone reaches their targets this time.
