Need2bthrifty - have I missed you off the challenge list? If so let me know your details and I will add you on x

Hi Ragz, sorry just noticed I have been missed off list, I had posted on page 11 #216 and my fault I didn't check the list to see if I was added.

I set an initial target of 9lbs (at least) for this challenge. My measurements if you need them are on page 17 #331.

    Thanks :A

ETA - just noticed new list - nice - thank you.

  • I've STS this week.

A little disappointed as I seem to have gotten to a point I can't get past. I've reached this weight when I've been at slimming clubs and really struggled to get below it so have given up. Will be more possitive this time. Will try and get more excercise this next week and fingers crossed next week, I'll have beaten the scales!! :j

Congratulations everyone... even to those who have gained or STS this week, at least we're still here talking about it and trying to do something about it rather than hiding on the sofa with a vat of ice cream!!! :p

    Good luck for next week

  • A 4lb loss for me. This is for a week and a half really.

Todays food isn't v good, had an exam this morning so taost and then a cereal bar before it started. Ham salad bap and half packet sushi for lunch wich was ok but...Christmas dinner tonight so abt 1000 cal plus wine! Will burn some of it off dancing. Have been good all week, and will be back n track properly on Monday. Not going to go too mad this weeend, but a wee treat after revision :j

Slightly disappointing zero loss this week ... I'm putting it down to hormonally induced chocolate consumption! so hopefully should get back on track next week.

I have the need to get some digital scales as the old style one I have is harder to read and is only in 1lb increments so I will be getting a set of these http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_27906.htm

At £7.99 I thought that was a great price and they have a 3 year guarantee ;) Nice when you actually have the need for something a good deal pops up !

Just thought it might be a help to anyone in the same position with a L*dl near them on the 19th Jan.

ragz - thanks for your response to my earlier query - that's really helpful as I've always wondered about how my weight changes from day to day. Your explanation makes perfect sense. :)

I would be more than happy for :)s to be taken away for weight gain, too - it seems the most sensible solution to me. And, as everyone else has said, thanks very much ragz for organising the challenge chart. :T

I now know my dinner tonight will be sliced baked gammon (possibly with a bit of the accompanying parsley sauce, but probably not as I'm not that keen on it :undecided) with roast cheesy potatoes and tomatoes (which is surprisingly low cal for a cheesy option), followed by a slice of cherry and almond tart.

Tomorrow's meals are likely to be a bit odd as I'm venturing into the wilds of Ik*ea - I won't be home before mid-afternoon so might end up having coffee and cake in the cafe. :o (That's if I ever manage to find my way out at all, of course.)

Dragoncry - I love those scales. :) I wish they'd been on special offer last time I needed to get some new ones - they look much more interesting than my dull black ones.
Back after a very long break!

well done to all the loosers :T
im reporting a VERY disappointing STS AGAIN!
this is despite being goodish all week and going to the gym 3 times :(:(:(

i can only assume thats its a combination of TOTM and some internal go slow (even though ive eaten tonnes of fibre and drunk loads of water!!)

i'm going to have a couple of glasses of red tonight, brush myself down and carry on ;)

its got to start to shift sometime!!!

food for today has been/will be
    2 x wm, seeded toast
the last of the quinoa, veg & feta
    1 biscuit 4 tortilla chips
2 sausages, roasted BNS and peas
    1/2 bottle of red :o
    - prior planning prevents poor performance!

  • Oh well I feel like I have had a good week even though my weight loss so far is
    a great fat 0 :(

Have tried really hard not to snack on an evening - didnt realise how bad I had got at munching the odd cracker/few crisps/few chocolates etc. Really noticed it going cold turkey for the first few days.

Have done a fairly strenuous 3 mile walk and a 3 mile run this week. Was going to run today but my legs are a bit sore and I have a golden rule of not running if something hurts. Will see how tomorrow goes. Have also tried to park further away from the shops and made a point of walking when I can.

Going to have a glass of wine tonight anyway. I feel better even if I havent lost any weight yet.
