    Glad the encouragement is helping!

Not sure what to do about gains... I don't want to add unhappy faces or anything, but should I change your targets/remove previous losses? Suggestions welcome... (Rosewood I amended your target to 10lbs)
Need2bthrifty, found the post of yours where you posted your target, sorry, I must have skimmed through it but you're added now.

Ragz you need to add 2 more smiley faces to my total please ;) see post 420. Thanks for all your hard work.
Might have to up my target but will see how it goes first, this might just be a fluke !

Last time I tried this kinda method I lost just over 2 stone in 2 months and as we have 12 weeks left it might be an idea to do that. Will work it out next weeks weigh in I think. Have had 3 children inbetween and the weight has quietly crept on :o

  • Well done to everyone who has lost :j

Ragz - I'm not giving a figure today as I want to wait until my accurate scales arrive, so will hopefully report back next friday.

I did have 2 glasses of Baileys last night (yum :D) as was feeling thoroughly p'd off, but I can see the sense in the "long term picture" so thanks for all the encouragement. I've picked up a GI diet book from the library, but as they aren't available in large print/audio , it will take a while with a magnifier - should stop me from eating though if I'm trying to read :rotfl:

Already done a long'ish walk (& boy, was it cold) this morning as DD gone back to school. Its sunny here now so may go the long way round to school for aftrenoon pick up.
And I find that looking back at you gives a better view, a better view...

    I've STS :(

I'm not going to worry about it too much though, I could have had a better week and also it's that time of the month so hopefully I can stick at it and have a loss next week.

Well done to everyone who lost this week and good luck for the coming week x

Ragz - I love the smiley faces for each pound lost. It will be great to see them grow (hopefully!) Maybe just remove the smileys for any pounds gained?

    ragz I don't know either.

It would be a shame to remove previous losses but it seems like the only thing to so we don't want to make it too complicated for you ragz.

    What do others think?
  • Morning everyone. Well done on all the losses. I can't weigh yet - there's a sleeping OH between me and the scales:rotfl:

Not optimistic as AF arrived with a vengeance on Monday and all good intentions fell by the wayside :( Back at doc yesterday and I'm getting better so will try to fit in some exercise next week - so long as chiropractor fixes my back this afternoon. My back went crunch on Tuesday. Thought to myself - is this a good crunch or a bad crunch. Got the answer when I tried to get out of bed on Wednesday

Never mind, its a lovely sunny day here and the walk to the chiropractor will be exercise.

Ragz thanks for organising and for all the positive thoughts about focusing on the long term.

Will post my weigh in results in due course.

Morning everyone, and well done to all the people that have lost weight this week. WOW you lot are so determined.
I was naughty last night, had some crips and chocolates :-( I came home from a meeting at work and hit the food :-(
I need to be more positive today.

Starting weight on Monday 9/1/12 12 st 5lbs

Todays weight 12 st 4 lbs

One pound off in 4 days so happy with that :-) considering how naughty I was last night.
I would like to lose a pound a week so that would give me a goal of 12 more pounds for the challenge :-)

Hope everone has a good day.

L-chicken stirfry with lots of healthy veg and some noodles, in soy sauce

Sorry to be late ragz, but it's 1lb loss this week. Quite happy with that, but next week I want to go through the 10st barrier so will be going for 2lb . Well I can try, ha ha.

B - last of the hg raspberries with ff yogurt
D - sausage, egg, mushrooms, onions, small jacket
T - hm chicken soup, crackerbread, WW brownie mousse thing. Came in a pack of 2 so getting this last one used up, won't buy again as not really for me, it's just that hey were rtc :)
Snacks - banana, satsumas, pear, apple
    Exercise 1 hour pulm/step

ragz I think I agree with others re removing some smily faces for gains, I know I would accept that if/when I had a gain.

    enjoy your day :)
  • Could you please add me for 1lb loss. I am very surprised and happy with that as its that time and I think I have eaten my weight in chocolate. I have tried to stay active although I haven't done any planned exercise as I have been too sore and have had a very busy week and a week from hell at my work.

Will try harder this week to cut down on the rubbish and to increase on exercise.

Ragz thank you for all your hard work and words of encouragement.

Congratulations to all that have lost and stay strong to those who are disappointed with their weigh in.
