Woke up this morning feeling as light as a feather. I could possibly be deluded, though!!

I've been extremely good so far today, but it's been another long day at the office - thinking about food and planning what and when to eat next, does seem to make the days seem twice as long.

Pretty much the same regime as yesterday for breakfast and lunch, then went for a short walk after work.

B: Plain yoghurt with sprinkle of muesli
L: 100g cooked pasta, teaspoon pesto, salad and 25g grated cheese
D: Beef, noodles and heaps of veggies stir fry
Snacks: Apricot, Nectarine and a few almonds

Still got a few calories to spare, if needed later.

Hugs to you Pigsmayfly, I hope you're okay!

    Morning all.

Is there a set weigh-day for this challenge? Assuming not and we're all still going on our own timescale, I can report a 2lb loss. :j That's a lot for 3 days, I know, so I'm wondering if the scales weren't quite accurate on Monday, but I'm going to claim it anyway because the weight's gone and that's all that matters. (And I fancy a couple of :) against my name - only 10 more to go before Easter.)

    Today goes:

B - two white rolls with a scraping of butter and damson jam (:naughty:, but I have been very good recently)
    S - bunch of grapes
L - chicken salad sandwich; mug of veg soup; bottle of fruit smoothie
    S - pineapple
D - two cheese & onion crispbakes with the last of Monday's veg stew

It's pub quiz tonight so I'll doubtless have a couple of pints of cider - not a great day overall, but never mind, eh? ;)

Exercise - a walk up to town at lunchtime (about 30 minutes), then a walk to the pub tonight (about the same again).

pigsmayfly - huge hugs to you - last night definitely wasn't the time for following a diet or avoiding alcohol. I hope you're feeling as OK as can be expected today.
Back after a very long break!

I am ok thanks, a little *rough* this morning but I am turning this around.

To spur me on with my weight loss I am channelling all the hurt and anger into work outs me thinks :j and sorting out my life I have been in a rut far too long. This really has to be the new me now. :T I virtually ran during the school run and now I am going to finish the painting in the front room then head out for a long walk to clear my head. Last year was rubbish and I hope the 'everything happens for a reason' mantra I live by means it wasn't meant to be so good luck to them I don't want a dirty cheat anyway :(.

Thank you all for your comments I really enjoyed both the hugs and the calorie free cake.... :rotfl:

    Staying strong pigsmayfly x

    Change of plan;

I am heading to my sisters for a bit of just dance on the wii as she just phoned to ask if I would like 3 tubs of slim fast, that should save on the food bill :). I haven't told anyone yet I just sort of absorbed it myself last night so I think I may just have a winge after the exercise as nattering on may stop us dancing lol. I am all about shifting this weight now (and the hangover) its not too bad as I took my asprin and two pints water before I dropped off.

    Hi everyone

Just catching up on the last few pages for inspiration, as I am finding it hard. :(I have probably put on weight this week - had a big birthday bash to go to at the weekend although I went easy on the buffet -but then had family stay over, then it is my DS birthday this weekend! After no snacking last week -had half a packet of hobnobs yesterday:(. It's strange because I watched the biggest loser on TV the other night and Davina said that the second week is always tough - well she is right, it is! Can't believe I'm so quickly demotivated! Dreading weighing myself tomorrow....

Also -thinking of you PIGSMAYFLY ((((((hugs))))))
  • another one sending hugs pigsmayfly. I like your thinking .. channelling the hurt & anger into the weight loss is a good idea. You will look fab when you reach your goal :)

Didnt manage my jog last night, cant say i am massively surprised given the fact i am feeling slightly flat this month and motivation is a quite hard :o

Contemplating a 15 mile cycle at weekend though BUT will depend on how bad the weather is..

    menu for me today -

B - 2 slices of best of both bread with a slather of low fat marg, and low fat peanut butter (only on one piece of toast)
    L - Chicken Casserole
D - Sausage with mash and a serving of veggies

Snacks - crisps again ( tut tut :o), 20g of dry roasted nuts and a snack pack of dried apricots

Excerise - cycled to work - just under 6 miles

well i am feeling more positive today, i still feel bloated am am not sure that i will have lost tomorrow but at least i am still trying.
yesterday wasnt bad, too many snacks at work but at least they were healthy snacks.

today is: a slimfast shake i found in the back of the fridge (i was going to the gym so i couldnt have proper breakfast)

cauliflower & gruyre cheese soup brought in by a work collegue (am going to have to have a small portion as it will be loaded with cals :() probably with a couple of ryvitas or bread although i will try to limit this

dinner will be slices of ham, poached egg and oven chips (ended up with beans on toast last night as OH was working)

i have done 25 mins on the crosstrainer this morning which hopeful will help towards the soup.

Thanks, sparrer - I'll weigh again tomorrow morning and hope it's more or less the same as today (or at least lighter rather than heavier ;)).

CCP - well done on the loss, I'll add it on tomorrow, no need to weigh again.

Just binged big time! 2 packs of crisps, two rocky bars, a piece of cake and a large slice of white toast smothered in clover. Now feel sick and cross :(

Had Doctors apt this morning for results of latest thyroid function test, one level has gone back up when it should be going down (possibly explains my awful short term memory at the moment, feeling stiff and cold), the crazy but lovely doctor is testing me for loads of odd things I don't understand to get to the bottom of it, I have to have loads of blood tests next week. It's nice that he's thorough but I am utterly befuddled now, so I came home and ate everything...
I googled one thing he thought I may have and I don't think it's that but doesn't help much.

Will have soup for lunch and do a good swim later (though I woke up with a yucky cold this morning and ache all over). I wanted to go shopping today but have no energy...

I had WI tues with a 1lb loss but today and yesterday I was 2lb heavier so who knows what tomorrow will bring...
