This sounds very exciting! Would you be so kind to post the link again for me?
(apologies if it is further up the thread, I must've missed it).
I've had the courgette fake pasta a few times and that works a treat as well.
Not sure how to do links but I think this is right -

Made it for DS who is visiting and has a healthy appetite. Together with a Caesar salad it filled him up nicely
Just checked and it seems to work
Today was busy with gym, shopping for DS's visit, cleaning the house etc so meals were bitty to start with
B - pear
L - cream cheese on crackerbread, 4 slices salami, 3 tiny tomatoes
D - recipe as above with Caesar salad, fresh fruit salad (necratine, plum, pear, satsuma) with rf vanilla ice cream
S -melon, nana
E - 1 hour gym.
Had a word with the pt as I don't think I'm losing ounces, let alone lbs. He said it's unlikely I will for a while as I'm going through a lot of changes and beginning to build muscle rather than just losing weight. Disappointing in a way but as long as I don't gain I guess it's a bonus
Going to my sisters wedding tomorrow, it's a sit-down dinner so don't think there will be much choice. I'll take whatever low option there is!0 -

Um, yeah, put on another pound. Not really surprising.
Have been so busy with children and stressed with PMS this week which I really suffer with so I am not giving myself a hard time about it. Plenty of time to turn this thing around - must stop treating myself with food!
Oh, but meal out tomorrow for BIL's 40th and DS2's 5th birthday Sunday so not much hope for the weekend!
Better luck to everyone else, well done all the losers and sorry I am a bit AWOL at the moment, summer hols are crazy!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

I've only bl*ody well done it! Lost 2.5 lbs and got to my stone!:j:j:j
Last week I'd lost 1.5lbs but only recorded 1lb as you couldn't have half smilies but today the scales said exactly a stone lost. I got on and off 5 times and it didn't change! Odd really as I felt quite bloated yesterday - think that was the last of the hormones working their way through, all gone this morning.
Savesummore - I know what you mean about working hard for it this week - we deserve a treat (non-food of course!). Well done you too!
So this week can I record 3 lbs as I didn't count the half pound last week?
I'm soooperdooper pleased as it my hols on Tuesday and I feel so much better thinking that I have lost a stone:)0 -
Congrats savesummore and welshwoofer!
I feel better today already, after having a no-extras and portion-controlled day all the way yesterday. I think it's possibly partly due to my more decisive mood and optimism and maybe even the sun (I had forgotton what that looked like) but I'll taking the improvement in energy levels without any argument!
Was going to have cereal again for breakfast but saw the remaining 3 slices of HM bread (very thin slices) and cavedHad those with butter and jam, so not a great start but I am about to go and tackle the garden before it gets too hot, so will burn it off today!
I fed the rest of the bread to the ducks on my canal walk yesterday, they appreciated it and, I was surprised to note, didn't sink!My HM bread is rather solid.
So - no WI for me today as I only really started yesterday, but feeling much better as I said.
B Toast, butter jam (3 small thin slices)
S (throughout the day) Cereal, sk milk, melon, soya milk
L Cereal
D Chicken breast, new potatoes, broccoli, broad beans
As you can already tell, I'm a "samey" eater... even when not controlling my diet, I tend to have the same thing for a few days or a week. I don't think that's a problem with the healthy stuff but if it's McD's I'm in trouble (yes it has been known!)
Good luck with your WIs everyone, hope I will be posting a loss this time next week!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.
