Havent felt well all day, not sure if its the heat or lack of sleep but stomach aching too. Managed breakfast, had a pick at some cooked chicken for lunch but couldnt face salad. Had a Lf yoghurt but think that was a mistake as it felt like it curdled in my stomach :( Might just try a bit of toast for tea later, just feeling listless and rather yucky. Spent most of afternoon lying down so dont think I'll be doing much exercise

Thank you very much for my birthday wishes :)
Busy day today preparing for my weekend away with 3 girlfriends

B - 1/2 mashed nana in rf yogurt
L - 2 slices WW danish with rf cream cheese and tomato
S - friend called by for a cuppa this afternoon and brought apple custard doughnuts. They disappeared very quickly but the box of F/Rocher chocolates will stay in the fridge til I visit DD on Monday, DGD2 will love them. Not a choc lover, had it been a block of cheese it wouldn't last the night!
D - Grilled pork loin, leeks, petit pois
    S - melon, nectarine, pear
E - no time for gym but lots of housework, ironing, gardening. You'd think I was going away for a month, not a weekend. Will have time to weigh in tomorrow, can't get away with it!

    Have a good evening :)

    eta get well soon (((Skint)))

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Heya everyone,

Sorry I've not been round for a day or two, had a couple of OU assignments due in which meant that eating sensibly and exercising has gone completely out of the window. They're in now though and I've returned little nephew to DS so hopefully things should be getting better - time to get the trackies on and start letting Jillian Michaels bully me again :rotfl:

I know I need to stop doing the cheeky weighing-myself-every-day thing, but has anyone else found that they put on weight during their time of the month? It's really irritating me as I'm not sure if I'm just putting it on because I'm being a lazybum or because I'm really bloated :o

WelshWoofer - well done on going for the run! I think I'd be exactly the same ;) I wanted to do a half marathon earlier this year but then two of my friends said they were going to do it so I chickened out - I'd have been too embarrassed to be left puffing along in their wake.

Savesummore - your slip of the tongue made me laugh :D Oh, and housework DEFINITELY counts as exercise, especially if your house requires as much 'work' as mine lol

Nat - thinking of you being uncomfortable in your cardis and leggings made me sad :( Why shouldn't you be entitled to be just as cool and comfortable as a skinny minnie? I'm quite bad for wearing jeans, etc when it's too warm for them really, but maybe getting over the mental block of worrying about others will think is as important as actually losing the weight? We can slim down all we want, but if we have an unhealthy and inaccurate body image, we still won't be happy.

Mini - please let us know if you decide to go for the hypnotherapy! I'd be really interested to hear if it helps :)

Financially_Gaga and Rose Wood - I think you're putting us to shame with your gym routines, walking and exercise classes! Careful you don't wear yourself out, I don't think I'd get out of bed for a week if I did all that :rotfl:

Daisie - 30DS is killing me too! Jillian is a slave master

Sparrer - Hope you enjoyed your birthday; it's only once a year so no need for (misplaced) guilt

Skint - Hope you feel better soon, rest up and :grouphug:

I weigh myself everyday :) I find that if I don't, I'm more like to end up cheating :o also, if you feel bloated and it's that time of the month, make sure you drink lots more water than normal, it'll really help :)

 Thought I'd weigh in today, as I always miss Ragz on a Fri, but I think I'll weigh in tomorrow instead  I know I had a couple of busy/bad weekends, and I didn't expect anything spectacular this week - but I didn't expect a 4lb gain  (I'm a little shocked, can you tell?). I'm definitely going to blame it on the weather, room temp shot up 6 degrees over night, and it must surely be causing some fluid retention? please?

It wasn't a too bad day otherwise:
    B: Cereal and LF yoghurt
L: 6 sandwich quarters from a buffet lunch (quite restrained for me)
D: LF sausages and peas with pasta and pesto
S: small handful of nuts, satsuma, 3 flat bread biscuits, and 6 small truffles (oops)

p.s. amyloofoo I bought the hypno voucher, I will let you know if it's worth it! I know someone who did it, and thought the results were amazing, but I couldn't afford it full price.

    Evening All

It's my babysitting evening again so I'm back at DS's for the evening. It's every Thursday in holiday times rather than every other Thursday. DGD came round at 4.30 and we had a lovely time in the garden with bowls of water, watering cans etc. I put my swimsuit on too so she could splash to her hearts content.

Re the weighing. I weigh every day, morning and evening. Not that I'm obsessed (!!) but it gives me a good idea of how my body is behaving and reacting to various things. I always weigh heavier at bedtime than in the morning which is to be expected really. I find it helps me keep motivated - if it's higher than I want I know I need to try harder and if its dropped I don't want to spoil things.

B: Milky coffee only as I had a lie in then went straight to the hairdressers
L: HM chicken and mushroom soup. Piece of Piel del Sapo melon.
D: Piece of cod in a creamy cheese sauce with courgette and peas.
Snack: I've just had a tiny piece of DGD's Easter egg which is still on a shelf.

Exercise: Very little today which is ironic after your comment amyloofoo. Just a short walk of about a mile round the village.

    Rose
