Evening All
Another glorious day here. I had a very pleasant hour or so on the patio with a book this morning after an early run and then a wander round the shops in our local city this afternoon.
B: Muesli with cherry and berry mix and mixed seeds and nuts - and topped with whipping cream (very decadent).
L: Omelette filled with mushrooms, spinach, beetroot leaves and garlic. HM icecream substitute - I blended some Greek yoghurt with frozen raspberries and popped it in the freezer.
T: 2 low carb crispbreads, one with cream cheese with garlic and herbs, one with peanut butter.
Snack: I am about to have half a small bar of dark chocolate.
Exercise: 4.5 mile run/walk. A 5 mile walk this evening and about another 2.5 miles of walking here and there.

Evening Everyone
Lovely day here again started off well but sabotaged by well meaning friends and family:eek:
B- soy milk and cereal
L- packed salad with cubed cheese
D- (here comes the first pitfall) my friend at work made me some delicious indian samosas, fried lentil and veg patties and sweet potatoe patties, they were gorgeous, i did eat them with some fresh spinach if that helps:rotfl:
S- (second pitfall) my Aunt in America sent a parcel filled with bits for the kids but with my childhood fav sno balls ( choc cake wrapped in pink marshmallow and coconut) i did give one (begrudgingly) to dh.'You have brains in your head. Nat ds sez (with all the wisdom of a travelled 17 year old depends where you're going cos up the mountains it's cold (he had a 4 season sleeping bag and thermals but was camping) he sez it was good and worth doing but to take large denomination pounds rather than small denomination dollars (which is what they were told to do) cos you get better exchange rate. A very late post as I didn't want to project what I'd be eating - you'll see why
B - F&F, sk milk
D - Rainbow trout with tartare sauce mixed with lf yogurt
now it all goes haywire....
S - cuppa with neighbour, her DD had made me a plate of fairy cakes, I had one, they had one each and the other 3 are in the fridge
S _ cuppa with friends who visited, they brought a profiterole stack as they said it has a less fattening centre. We had 3 each
T - 2 crackerbread, 1xvegemite 1xrf cream cheese with garlic
S - at a meeting this evening, has a lemon Bakewell
S - melon and a nectarine.
E - 45 mins gym, 20 min walk! Only because I locked myself out of the car at the gym and had to walk to DD's for the spare.
All in all a food disaster but you only get one birthday a year, thank goodness, and it was just an amazing day

Happy Birthday for yesterday, Sparrer
.
Well done on booking the holiday and commiting to the run, WelshWoofer. Your energy exhausts me :rotfl:
Well, I'm STILL finishing off freezer stuff...and portion sizes have been larger than I want in an attempt to coincide the end of the freezer with the shopping day tomorrow...on the plus side, I have been pretty good alcohol and chocolate-wise :T
Grey skies again today...it's depressing me to hear you all have such gorgeous weather, and here, it's warmish, but grey oppressive skies. What wouldn't I give for some blue skies and sunshine
Today's plan isn't great -
Brekkie - hm wm toast with hm strawberry jam
Lunch - fish & chips (proper fish & chips from somewhere my dad says is the best chippy in the country :T....hmmm....:o)
Dinner - probably none needed
Have a lovely day.

Morning all!
Thanks for the good wishes on the run - its good to hear that I'm not the only secretive exerciser!
Not sure about food for today yet but I do need to pop to the greengrocers for a bit more fruit so will factor that in somehow.
Exercise for today will be a swimming session later (not been since Sunday) and a good dog walk around the water park with a couple of shorter ones later in the day. If mowing the lawn counts as exercise I'll be doing that too.0 -
Sorry to moan but it was sooo hot last night. I havent slept well, have drunk loads of water and feel really bloated. Doesnt bode well for weigh in tomorrow
Plans for today
B - poached egg, slice bacon (fat removed) beans
L - something with salad
D - chilli beef stir fry & noodles
Snacks - apple, satsuma
Exercise - hope to get a walk in later if its not too hot

Good day yesterday. Low carb pizza was delicious. Did treat myself to a cornet ice cream for pudding in the evening though.
Today I feel ill so I had lots of toast for breakfast, because it was there and it was easy. I let myself off when I am ill though.
Welshwoofer - well done with the C25K, I did it last eyar, when I started I could barely run the 60 seconds so managing the race for life in jus tover 30 minutes felt amazing. I did it on my own, like you I didn't fancy bringing anyone who would beat me or being slowed down by people who don't run! I kept up runnign for a little while but stopped voer the winter and never got back into it, though my fitness is a lot better than it was before I tried running.
I have weighed 11,7 all week so I think I will STS this week, a loss of 3lb last week was unlikely to be accurate really so I reckon I have prob lost 2lb last week and 1lb this week so I am not bothered if it is STS. Will try not to put any on over the weekend as we are in the caravan at another rally and I find it harder to stay on track as I don't have room to take all my low carb alternatives! I will sneak in a cauliflower somewhere!
Does anyone want to do the LIST for me tomorrow? We are leaving quite early so I won't have time. What I do is 'quote' the last list, then in the advanced edit just remove the [QUOTE/] bits so it comes up normally and add the extra smilies and change numbers. Then once it's posted you can edit it normally.
I feel rubbish today but will try to make it back on here later to make sure someone is able to do it.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Belated Birthday Wishes Sparrer
LB – you’re not on your own the weather in Scotland is a bit rubbish for July as well, today supposed to be mostly cloudy but a high of.…….16c….Woohoo :j
I need to start posting again earlier in the day – that way I find I stick to my meal plan better, rather than rummaging in the fridge and cupboards as the day goes on and recording after I’ve eaten cause something little like custard creams or multiples of always seem to creep in, last night 3 of them disappeared with a cup of tea – not cause I needed them just because they were there!!:eek::eek:
So today I’m sticking to
B – Cold Meat, tomato & cucumber
L – Mung Bean Soup
D – Baked Fish with roasted peppers & toms, green beans & courgette
Snack – Pineapple, grapefruit & pomegranate salad as and when needed.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Grocery spends = £103.530 -
Morning all
Happy birthday for yesterday Sparrer
Last nights dinner didn't go to plan as we've run out of rice! Not good when you've planned a curry! Put the chicken in the fridge in it's marinade and we'll have it tonight instead. We had meatballs, gnocchi and pesto with 0.75oz grated cheese each.
Today:
Breakfast: yoghurt, babybel, satsumas
Lunch: houmous and chicken sandwich with rocket, plum, peach
Snack: mr kipling cake bar, apple
Dinner: HM curry
Will probably need a snack when I get in as well, planning on going swimming before dinner.
Have a good day everyoneLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160
