Just about managed to stick to the calorie limit yesterday and due to a bad back didn't do anything more strenuous than dog walking.

But today is a new day and the sun is out here too:j
Not sure about food yet but I have started the day well with a Couch to 5K run - nearly on week 4 now, week 3 is now very doable and I'm actually looking forward to the next challenge (who'd have thought it!:rotfl:).

I'm going to have to do another dog walk later (when its cooled down a bit for him) and a bit of lawnmowing, so a few more cals to be burnt.
Hope everyone has a skinny day. xx

WelshWoofer, do you mind me asking you a Q about the couch to 5k?
How to you keep a count of how many repetitions of the times you have done? Do you keep a track of it in your head, or do you use something to help?

I use the podcasts that you can download free (just google Couch to 5K podcasts) on my ipod.

You can find the one I use here http://www.c25k.com/ - its by a man called Robert Ullrey but there are loads of different versions with different music and a man/woman telling you when to run and walk, warm up/cool down etc. I'd be lost without them and need the discipline of someone else telling me what to do and the encouragement they give as you're doing it. You can put them on any mp3 player/phone/ipod.
There's a different pod cast for each week so you progress through them as the weeks go by.

Hope that helps - good luck!

VERY VERY VERY EXCITED (and a little bit nervous!)
Have just booked myself a flight to Ibiza and a hotel for 4 nights for mid August:eek::j:eek:
Going on my own to a quietish resort for a few days relaxation and a bit of sun. My plan is to sunbathe, sleep, read, swim and watch the world go by. All food is included buffet style so there's no awkward eating at resturants alone and I've checked that there is Wifi and TV in the room so I won't get too lonely.
    What have I done?
The flight was a bargain (£100 return) and the hotel was £60 a night all in on a late booking site - got good reviews on Tripadvisor.
    Better get bikini ready now:rotfl:

    Get you Savesummore - actiongirl!

I think you may overtake me on the swimming challenge as I've only blo*dy hurt my back today:mad:. Done it before in the same place - this time it was a violent sneeze! Hopefully a few days taking it easier will get it back to normal (has done in the past) and I'll be back in the pool rivalling Rebecca Adlington soon:rotfl:.

    Afternoon all :)
we're back from our camping trip, we were very lucky with the weather, but I managed to sunburn the tops of my feet, ow! Won't report what I ate, as it was our summer hols so doesn't count ;)

Weighed in this morning, and I'm now back to my weight at the start of pregnancy, and expecting to gain more every week between now and November. Trying to keep up the healthy eating and exercise though, to minimise unecessary flab gain on top of baby's weight :p

    Meals today:
    Breakfast: babybel
Lunch: LO lasagne, apple, mr kipling lemon slice
    Snack: granola bar
    Dinner: unplanned, supermarket after work

Had to dash out this morning as had the midwife for my 24 week appointment, so grabbed some lasagne from the freezer for lunch as we had no bread in. Off to supermarket tonight, so will get something for dinner and stock up on fruit and veg for the week. Am going to stop buying treats, as DH has no self control and has to have one every day if he knows they're there. :o

    Afternoon All

This is a bit later than usual for me but I had an early start getting the car to the garage (thankfully through its MOT without any work required – phew :j)

Yesterday was a bit of a use up leftovers kind of day - soup, crusty bread, hummus which I nibbled throughout the day so I’m making a fresh start today
B – LF Greek Yoghurt, fresh Pineapple and the first of my HG Strawberries (that’s how bad the weather has been up here)
    L – Mung Bean Soup
D – Asparagus, Bacon & Tomato Frittata, Salad.
Snacks – Fruit as and when required.

VERY VERY VERY EXCITED (and a little bit nervous!)

You’ll have a great time I’m sure – I’ve done quite a few holidays on my own & I got quite nervous when I booked an 'allocation on arrival' so I didn't even know where I was going  but it turned out to be one of the best hols I've had. I’m quite content to explore and spend time on my own but there's usually always someone around to talk to. I recall a few years ago, whilst in Rhodes, I was adopted by two go-getting pensioners who obviously didn’t like the thought of me being on my own but in order to have a bit of “chill-out” time, which I badly needed, I had to get up and out early to avoid them :rotfl:.
