    After doing the Couch to 5K run this morning I've made a decision. I'm entering a 5K "race" on Sunday 2nd Sept to give myself something to aim for.
    I'm on week 4 of 9 now and am now doing the runs closer together so it isn't strictly taking a week to move up a stage (there's 3 runs in each week's level).

    I'm not going to tell anyone (except you!) as some of my friends are real runners and I don't want them to want to join me - I just want to do this by myself to prove to myself I can do it before letting the world know. That may sound daft but I'm very competitive and would be gutted if they did it too and just streaked past me without even breaking into a sweat!

    Sssshhh! Don't tell anyone:rotfl::rotfl:

    Afternoon everyone,

    Despite having hurt my back I still had a productive day in the garden, I seem to manage the bending down and on my knees bit ok but it’s the standing up and walking that seems to send it into spasm :mad:, hopefully it will ease in a day or so; I really need to get back into some sort of Shredding routine again.

    Today’s meals still dictated by stuff needing used up/leftovers
    B – Yoghurt & stewed rhubarb
    L - L/O Asparagus & Bacon Frittata
    D - Ham & pineapple Salad + coleslaw

    Dundee, did he enjoy it? I'm quite apprehensive about going but that's because I probably won't hold myself together very well when I meet the children!

    I'm rather fat and for me to go to a country where food is sparse, I think could be quite insulting. Don't think I could take the heat either, I'm struggling today, but that probably because I won't show my legs or arms so I'm in leggings and cardis :(

    Welshwoofer I'm exactly the same! I never like to talk about anything like this, I think 3 people know I'm actually on a diet, as I'm worried people'll start copying me and lose the weight faster!

    Today there is a Group*n voucher for 2 hypnotherapy sessions at a local practice, and I'm so tempted to give weight loss hypno a go, but then I ought to use it instead to deal with those pesky 8 legged vermin, as it's been my intention for years!

    Good day food-wise:
    B: cereal and LF yoghurt + kiwi
    L: ham and LF cream cheese salad sandwich with small hanful of nuts, grapes
    D: HM fried rice with S&S stir fry sauce, 3 flat bread biscuits, 3 chocolate truffles
    S: satsuma, banana
    E: Walking around the air conditioned shops, stealing their cool!
