Funny weather here today, lovely sun and blue sky then sudden torrent of rain for 10 mins. Managed to get out for a walk but was glad I took my raincoat as heavens opened 10 mins after leaving home, still muggy though
B - Weetbics
L - Bacon, egg, fried potatoes, beans
Bacon grilled (removed fat before cooking as I cant resist crispy bacon fat) , potato baked in microwave and then sliced and browned off in a squirt of 1calorie spray along with egg
D - small portion of chicken from bird roasted last night (crispy skin thrown away... almost broke my heart) with either corgette, peppers and mushroom rice or small plain jacket potato, veg and gravy havent decided which yet
Snacks/supper - might have a yoghurt later if peckish. Must buy more fruit this week at @ldi when I go shopping tomorrow

Well I am officially kn*ckered! The 8 mile walk turned into a 9 mile one due to a detour for a flooded field and the first third was exclusively uphill (a steep hill:eek:) but I managed it ok and could have carried on if needed to.:j
During the 30 min drive home I was elated then got out of the car and legs were like lead, then had to walk the dog, thankfully I did his big walk this morning so it was just half an hour or so. I will be stiff tomorrow - on the plus side I've burnt off 766 cals on the main walk:T.
Need to have a sit down, some tea (am starving now) and then a nice long bath.0 -
Evening All
I've had a lovely day with DGD, which always helps keep me away from snacks - too busy painting, doing jigsaws, playing in the garden and at hide the teddy etc.
B: Milky coffee only as I had a lie in.
L: Tomato and basil soup. CherriesStew (minus the dumplings or potato) with left over mashed swede from yesterday. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
Snack: Salted cashew nuts
Exercise: Short walk with DGD to go buy some eggs. Maybe a longer walk later if friend is available.
Rose
ETA: Friend was available so just had a 5 mile walk.Weight Loss Challenge 5/7/19 10st 6lbs

Kind regards xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Well I am feeling thoroughly fat and depressed. It's MIL's 60th bash on Saturday and the dress I had planned to wear is too tight, it's strapless and there's far too much overspill going on. I am gutted, if I had not put on HALF A STONE I would be fine.
ARGHHHHHH

Well done WelshWoofer :T :j :T I so admire you for your amazing achievement. You absolutely deserve your long bath and a relaxing evening0 -

Even with big knickers and a squash em in strapless bra? Did you try it on with the right undies? It can make a big difference.
I guess if you were very good and cut down on carbs just for the week (to minimise bloating), drank loads of water and had a lot of protein and exercise 4lbs could be doable. I'm rubbish at doing that though, I always give up after 2 days and scoff loads.:o
Good luck.
Just had another thought - could you wear a little bolero cardi/jacket thing or a wrap over it?0 -

Thanks
The bolero is a great idea, it's mostly the top of my back (back fat ) that ruins it. If I managed to lose a few pounds then I may not feel so bloated in it either. I did try it on this evening after my sons' birthday celebrations (cake, pastries, chips and dips etc ) so perhaps it is not as bad as it seems.
I WILL be really good this week, even if I can lose ONE pound I will feel better and be more likely to do well next week.
I will do the shred again tomorrow, not done it for a week. Maybe even a run if I have time. I will try ever so hard to beat the White Beast (sugar) and drink lots of water :A
Easy...
I would buy a new dress but I kind of told myself no new clothes until I get to 11 stone, which I really should stick to (Yes, even bargains at the charity shop, which usually scuppers these resolutions!).June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

How about one of those sea weed wraps? That might help too Ragz xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
