been naughty at work, and had a small slice of walnut cake, and a shortbread finger, but as its very very rare that i eat this kind of stuff, i'll write it off as a treat.
have decided dinner tonight will be grilled salmon fillet and salad, with maybe some yogurt for desert

    2lb loss for me:j:j That's half a stone now:T:T

Didn't take lunch with me today so ended up having a small portion of school dinners (nicer than they sound)....

    Food today has been....

Breakfast - cereal bar (117 cals)
Snack - go ahead type biscuit (90 cals)
Lunch - veg curry (not a creamy one, mostly courgette and pepper as far as I could see), small portion (one serving spoon) of pilau rice - no idea about cals for that but not too bad

Tea - not sure yet, maybe veggie sausages and roasted tomatoes and peppers to use up the veg in the fridge

    Evening - strawberries

Exercise today - just walking the dog in the rain so far but will force myself to Shred later

Well done to all of the losers:T

    Red Onion Marmalade

Chopped red onions - a couple of pounds or so.
Saute in a lump of butter slowly till soft and translucent - about 30 minutes.
Stir in sugar - should be brown but I only had white granulated so used that. I sprinkled all over the surface but didn't weigh.
About 100ml of balsamic vinegar added too. Then simmer gently and slowly till the mixture is almost dry. I had a couple of tastes to see how it was coming on. The longer and slower the better - another 30 minutes or so at least. Then decant into sterilised jars to cool. Enjoy!

    Well done Sparrer!

I am sulking, have put on a pound. I am now 11 stone 12 pounds, I am sure I was 11 stone 5 a few months ago, that means I have put on half a stone with the odd pound here. And that's with watching what I eat, imagine what I would weigh if I wasn't!

Of course I stuffed myself with junk this morning to make up for it. Oh there really is no hope for me!

That could of been me writing that. To the letter!!
There IS hope for us!!! Come on, we've done it before, we can do it again!!!!

Hello everyone - I haven't been posting as we've been really busy this week, sorting out the garden to stop it flooding again! I've been digging ditches, carrying buckets full of mud and bricks around, and generally getting soaked to the skin - either by rain or sweat!! So my diet has been rubbish, but I've STS.

savesummore the soup has got soup and broth mix in it (or scotch broth mix it doesn't matter), carrots, onions, flour, milk & herbs. It's yum!

Today's snacking was more than planned, but I only snacked on fruit and am still well under my calories for the day. Managed two of my Wii Tennis sessions, going to do the 3rd one in a bit :-D

Tonight's dinner was a success... homemade tuna & sweetcorn fish cakes with homemade oven chips. First try at the fish cakes, they were delicious! Here's a photo of them :D

    homemadetunasweetcornfi.jpg

Little bit burnt at the edges but didn't affect the taste!

That whole meal was only 373 calories... and very filling :D
