According to the scales I have gained last week's pound back, though I feel and look a little slimmer. Oh well, off in the caravan for the weekend, that always seems to make me eat loads so I will try really hard to be good.
Calories usually [STRIKE]creep[/STRIKE] march on in in the form of alcohol so I m training myself to like Gin and fizzy water (lowest sugar/calorie alcoholic drink). It's not too bad, best served cold with ice and lemon, I can't stand gin and tonic but realised mostly I don't like the Tonic, Aldi's poshest Gin is quite nice.

    Morning all :)

Well I barely ate a thing yesterday as I managed to spend most of the day in hospital after being rushed there in an ambulance having a severe anaphylactic reaction...scary! Today I feel a bit rubbish and shaky and tearful....probably in need of some comfort food.

On the plus side though I did weigh this morning and it's the same as yesterday which means I've lost 4lbs this week :) want to try not to go too crazy with the comfort food as I don't want to ruin it...

Hope everyone has a nice weekend and manages to stay more or less on the wagon!

    Morning all :)

Oh dear daisy :(, sorry to hear of your problems yesterday. Everything crossed it'll not happen again
You make me green with envy ragz, I loved my caravan days. Have a super weekend. Oddly enough when I drank I never touched gin, but now I drink lots of tonic water :D

Reporting in with a 1lb loss - will I make the challenge with only one more lb to go? Really going to try but not holding my breath!

    B - Porridge
D - Chicken tikka with fusilli. Apple
    T - Crackers w/marmite, cheese&pickle, marmalade
    S - melon, pineapple, apple
E - day off from gym to catch up with housework, it's a tip after hardly being touched since last weekend so going to raise some dust :D

Got a line of washing out so sorry guys, it's going to rain :( but hope you have a sunny day whatever the weather :)

    Morning everyone,

After a false start earlier in the year, I'm going to try again :T

    Today's plans are:

    Breakfast: Weetabix/semi/sugar:eek:
    Lunch: Ham salad
Dinner: Vegetarian shepherd's pie (lentils, carrots, onions with sweet pot topping) and veg
Snacks: 3xcrackers and roule, yogurt coated strawberry pack, apple

    Exercise: none

Probably not the healthiest plan, but I thought I'd jump right in instead of waiting until I'd done a menu plan and shopping, and it means I'm about to go and make a nice ham salad for lunch :T

    Hi Folks,

I havent been around for a few days but just popped in to do a very quick post and declare that I have STS this week, which is surprising considering the lack of planning that’s gone into my meals and the rubbish that I have been eating. But the energy used in disposing of the contents of a house probably balanced out the excesses of the week.

I still have to do the cleaning bit next week so hopefully that and a more organised menu will get some more weight off.

I will hopefully manage to catch up on everybody's posts at some point over the weekend.

    Afternoon All

Well, after reading 'Escape the Diet Trap' at the weekend and following the principles in it since Monday, I've lost a couple of pounds and am finally back to my pre-holiday weight. I don't need any smiley faces as I didn't have any taken away, but hopefully might get one or two next week if it keeps up.

After seeing pictures of people's meals on another thread I thought it might be nice to post the odd picture of our meals to give inspiration so if this works, here is my lunch- a prawn and avocado salad with home grown salad leaves, seeds, etc.

    5552439.jpg

B: Banana sliced with a teaspoon of creme fraiche.
    L: Prawn and avocado salad.
D: Kedgeree made with smoked haddock, salmon, mushrooms and grated cauliflower instead of rice. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
    Snacks: Iced coffee frappe

Exercise: 1 hour stability ball class. 2 miles of walking so far today.

Just a quick post to say I've lost 2lbs:j

As a result food has been rubbish today:(:(
And its yr 11 prom with a sit down dinner tonight - will try to give away dessert and leave the bread alone! I'm driving so at least there's no alcohol involved. Small mercies!
