    Mornings! :j

Gorgeous sunshine here again, had me awake at 5am again...but it's not going to last, deep joy!

Going ok at the moment, not great, but better than I was :T. Today's plan presents a bit of a challenge -

    Brekkie - hm muesli
    Snack - banana
Lunch (later than usual) - buffet sandwiches and crisps - would really prefer not at this stage in my "recovery". I hope to be able to be restrained....:A
Dinner - portion of hm fish pie and baked beans

Random question of the day - does anyone know if young cats (nearly 1 year old but if he keeps misbehaving, he won't make that birthday ;)) are still teething?? He's either being incredibly naughty this morning, chewing EVERYTHING including my laptop cable  OR he's teething. I s'pose he could have been taken over by aliens, cos he's NOT my cat today, that's for sure :)

    Have a good'un today :D

I think I have come full circle... you know how addicts have to hit rock bottom before they can recover? I have eaten so much the last few weeks, I have gained a whole half a stone since the lowest I got to (I weighed this morning at 11 stone 12lbs). Now I feel ready to start afresh and be strict with myself. It seems I am no good at restraint so I am going cold turkey, NO biscuits, NO chocolate, NO crisps, NO cake, NO Ben and Jerry's...
They don't make me happy, they don't fulfill me so why bother? For the rest of the challenge I am going to stick to my guns. Back to the yogurt, fruit and muesli for breakfast and soup for lunch.

Have ordered the 30 day shred, sounds good and was only a fiver so... worth a go.

I WILL update the list by friday, but must go and do some exercise now...

  • Quite chuffed with myself as last night I DID go to my spinning class! Hurrah! V proud as I was trying to talk myself out of it - I was tired, grumpy, etc, but I made myself go and I felt so much better for doing so. And not only did I do my 45min class, I did 30mins on the bike and 15mins power walking on the treadmill whilst waiting for the class to start - there was a change in the timetable.

I forgot my purse today and was in such a rush this morning didn't grab any breakfast or lunch to bring into work. Arrgh!
Managed to find a sachet of porridge on my desk so at least I managed a a good brekkie. Borrowed some dosh from someone at work so bought a chicken and pasta salad for dins, reduced, and I've swiped a mini pack of shortbread bics from the bowl in reception!

Tonight we're having venison grill steaks with HM wedges and baked beans. I'm also planning to do my Davina DVD as OH will be out playing footie until 7.30ish, although the house is such a disgrace at the moment I may have to burn my calories whilst wielding Hetty Hoover instead!

WelshWoofer I think Paul McK is brilliant, I have his cd by my bed. It makes me sleep too, but I kid myself it's subliminal ;). Even when I don't listen I follow some of his ideas, like leaving a little bit of food on the plate to break the 'must eat it all up' habit.

Busy busy! Mowed the lawn then prepped lunch for DGD1 and DGS1 who phoned yesterday out of the blue to ask if they could come for lunch today. Of course, never refuse my DGC :A (It did cross my mind they had an ulterior motive :o but no, they just wanted to see their Grandma. They're 20 and 18 so it was very special). Both gone back to work now, I'll wash up in a mo ;)

    B - spicy, fruity porridge
D - fusilli with tomato/veg topping. Apple crumble, ice cream. Tiny portions for DGD1 and myself, who are both weight watching
T - will be usual crackerbread w/marmite/prawns/marmalade. Am wondering when I'll get fed up with the same tea every day, but still enjoying it so not yet :D
S - mango, pear, nectarine, melon
    E - mowed the lawn, 15 mins step/stretch later

    Hi All

I apologise di1amo, but raspberries to you , at least we’re in double figures……just....10c in Aberdeen .

Just a quick post today – I seem to be running around like a headless chicken today – but hey any exercise can only be a good thing - right.

Yesterday I finally got a bit more organised and started cooking again after a number of days of using up left-overs and other stuff rather than waste it.
    B – Yoghurt & fruit
    L – Ham Salad
