Realised I haven't posted my food diary for ages!
B: Banana & coffee
L: Tuna and sweetcorn salad w/ half a tom
S: handful of wasabi peasSmoked peppered mackerel in a soft roll with light mayo and salad. Roasted veggies - aubergine, courgette, tomato, pepper and garlic roasted in oil, parsley, rosemary and soy sauce - sooooo yum.
S: 3 squares of dark chocolate. Small pot of Greek yoghurt with honey. A stolen bite of steak from my OH.
Exercise: 20mins cross trainer, 10mins stepper, lunges, deadlifts, lat pulldowns, bicep curls, pec flies, shoulder presses.0 -
Got a bit stressful in places today but have just about managed day 3 and got out of the door for a 20 minute walk at lunchtime. 20 mins doesn't sound a lot but I have a bloomin big hill to go up and down so I'm sure it did me some good.
Had a small crisis when it turned out that DS and DD had already had meatballs for school dinner so back went the ones I'd liberated from the freezer this morning in favour of a creation with frozen prawns instead!
B - yoghurt and fruit, L LO mackerel pate sandwich, 2 cheese crackers and apple, D - prawn pasta. Snacks - banana, small packet of crisps, 2 biscuits, small piece of cheese and a hot chocolate.
Writing it down is quite scary - I didn't realise I'd gotten quite so carried away on the snack front!

Morning All
Have been awake since 5am, let the kitten out and it's bloomin chilly today, but it's dry :T. My expectations for the weather are so low at the moment :rotfl:
Yesterday, I had a couple of chocolate digestives after my dinner. So, not a bad day, all in all, especially compared to the last few weeks. I doubt I'm going to lose weight at the moment, but it's a start on getting me back to healthy eating.
Today's plan is exactly the same as yesterday as I need to finish "stuff" off :rotfl:
Have a good Tuesday, Everyone

Morning All
Been out for an early morning walk and cheer on the Olympic Flame :j. Now that I have little else planned for the day I best go and do an inventory of the freezer and plan my meals at least for the next few days – been getting out of the habit of doing this and that’s when I fear bad habits/convenience start to creep in again.
Yesterdays meals =
B - Boiled Egg, Oatcake
L – Crackers and the last of the pate (thank goodness)
D – Yellow Fish, spinach & green beans
S – Strawberries & fresh pineapple, 2 x digestive biscuitsLavenderBees wrote: »Many thanks, O, Guru of the Sprouting Seeds :T

Afternoon all
Been awol for a bit, on hols last week which mostly seemed to involve going out for lunch/dinner almost every dayPlus it was DH's 30th on Sunday, so we had a big party on Saturday, with all sorts of yummy food on a buffet. Plus side, I still can't eat much at one sitting, so didn't even manage any birthday cake on Saturday! not sure what's come over me! :rotfl:
Migraine yesterday so didn't eat much, but back to work and logging today.
Meals:
Breakfast: orange juice, digestive biscuit (out of bread and milk off!)
Lunch: ham and philly light sandwich, apple, satsumas, activia yoghurt
Snack: nature valley granola bar
Dinner: LO roasted veg cous cous, 2 sausages, peas and a bit of ciabatta. Magnum (last one, bought for a holiday treat!).
Exercise: possibly swimming, will see how I feel when I get in. Heartburn kept me awake last night so pretty tired.
Weighed in this morning and I've lost another 1.5lbs, not sure how, am now half a stone lighter than when I got pg. I've set my calories to maintenance level on MFP, which I'm finding surprisingly difficult to reach as I can't each much at one sitting. Need to introduce some higher calorie snacks I thinkConsultants appointment tomorrow, will ask if I should be worried about continued weightloss then.

Yesterday was a bit of a shambles - didn't even go to the gym, ended up falling asleep on the sofa within 15minutes of getting home from work! Zzzzzz!
Today so far I've had:
protein shake for breakfast
two slices of wholemeal toast, low fat spread
activia blueberry yoghurt
I've another protein shake and yoghurt to nom this afternoon before tonights spinning class - which I AM going to!!
tonights tea isn't too healthy but we need to start eating all the bargains stuffed in our filled to the brim chest freezer! We'll be having steak pie, mash and mixed veggies.
I'm trying the protein shakes as I have a tub that needs to be used and I thought it could make a difference if using it to replace snacks or the odd breakfast here and there. We'll see on Friday!0 -

I think it is a good idea to try having that before your class. I didn't get round to breakfast before my class today and I was soo week and found it hard to do.
