chealseabun, welcome and I love your avatar pic! Makes me hungry
I went to Brick Lane last night for a curry, it was hard not to be naughty but I had tandoori chicken, which is a bit healthier as its dry and not drenched in sauce/ghee. Still ate 2/3 of a peshwari naan though. They are too yummy!

Afternoon All
I've just been out for the morning/early afternoon with Mum and am now grabbing half an hour R&R before work.
B: Muesli with extra sultanas
L: Bacon and mushroom savoury crepe. Mixed berry smoothie.
T: (Pack up for work) 2 halves of small savoury tarts - one goats cheese and mushroom, the other roasted Meditrranean vegetables - with salad consisting of rocket, baby leaves, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and coleslaw. Grapes
Snack: Cadbury's fudge
Exercise: Short walk to work and around the town I took Mum shopping to.
It's my 10K run tomorrow - I don't feel very well prepared for it at all. I'll be happy if I manage to do it in 1 hour 10 minutes so fingers crossed.
Rose

Ok pull myself together time!
Im doing a mini challenge in a challenge as Im on my hols in 4 weeks and want to try and lose a few more pounds.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Can I join this too? I should be looking to lose a lot more, but at the moment would be happy with 2 stone. And for a more immediate goal fitting back into the clothes I bought 2 months ago would be fab:eek:
I know what I should, and shouldn't, be eating but am in need of some motivation to stay on track and stop me bingeing. So signing in in the evenings would be helpful for me.
Ragz If you could add me to the list with 5lb to lose I would be really appreciative.
B fruit & fibre
L salmon, salad and some curly fries
D ham salad sandwich and cheese scone
Snacks, apple, grapes and a soon to be had glass of wine as it is Saturday night!
Thanks

Ragz - Mini challenge sounds good, can I set a small target of 3.5lbs for the last few weeks? I don't want to go all out for 7lbs, I don't expect to lose masses to begin with, as I'm transitioning from another diet, not starting out from scratch!
This last week I've been an absolute starvin' Marvin! I dunno where it's come from. I need to find a way to take my mind off of it... Back to running again tomorrow morning if the weather is decent! I started running for the first time in March, but have hardly been out since all the rain started in April. I just run up and down the garden, so that I can build up enough stamina to dare to take it to the streets! (I'm hoping that by telling people I'm going to do it, I will actually do it!)0 -
After reading on here last week about carb addiction I started to investigate further and have done a lot of reading about good and bad carbs and have been loosely following a lower GI regime this past few days. Nothing too radical and the book I have been reading has a very easy exercise plan and suggests a very managable 20 minutes of walking per day on four days per week and a few minutes of strength / resistance exercise.
I am really interested, what book are you reading?

Hello ladies - can I please join you too?
After weighing yesterday morning and my jeans feeling way too tight I need to do something about it - a stone would make me happy, a stone and a half and I'd be ecstatic:p
I'll go for 5 lbs by the end of June if that's ok?
I'm also throwing myself into a self devised exercise routine that started on Friday. I'm doing the 30 Day Shred DVD every day and a bit of other exercise on most days as well as the usual dog walking - surely that's got to help?
I'm a SW veteran but I think that simple healthy eating and portion control is the way to go for me as I don't want to see this as a diet because as soon as I get to where I want to be I go "off plan" and spoil all of my hard work.
Right off for the first dog walk of the day. Hope everyone has a good day.0
