    D - Pasta bolognese
    T - Usual crackerbreads
S - kiwi, apple, banana, nectarine

Hi there, have added you to the list, there's only 6 weeks left though, so if you want to change that target then let me know. The challenge info post is here if you hadn't found it yet.

I am in the caravan this weekend at a steam fayre so eating is rather naughty! Just popped back for the village jubilee do, but it's raining...

    Afternoon All

It's horrid weather here - cold and rainy. I did manage to get outside with DGD for 15 minutes with our wellies on to jump in a few puddles. She's now having her rest whilst I have a coffee and then prepare tonight's meal.

    B: Mushroom omelette
L: HM cauliflower soup. Honeydew melon.
D: Grilled haddock in breadcrumbs, a variety of vegetables. The others will have potato wedges or mashed potato with theirs but I won't. Banana

Exercise: 30 minutes exercise DVD. 15 minutes playing in the garden and the puddles. If it stops raining I may get a walk this evening but shall have to wait and see.

    Mornin' all

Yesterday was a disaster. I was helping with a party for some old folks at chapel and the buffet leapt out at me. I had two bowls of trifle !!

Back at work today though so my day is more structured.

    Today

Breakfast : Grapes, pineapple, LF plain yoghurt

Lunch : Salad with olives, SF jelly

Mid afternoon : Two Amaretti biscuits

Evening meal : WW ready meal, carrots and green beans

Half a pint of skimmed milk for drinks

Hi Folks, hope you are all enjoying the holiday weekend, despite the weather.

I had a lovely weekend and managed to get out and about quite a bit – walked for miles and despite the weathers best attempts we managed to dodge the hail showers. Although I am well used to living alone the house feels quite empty today now that my visitors have gone.

Better late than never but I’m happy to report that, regardless of my recent indulgences, I’ve STS. I did weigh myself on Friday but didn’t have time to post, stepped on the scales again this morning and only ½ lb has crept on :j.

I’d just like to say Welcome to missymoo81 - good luck with the challenge and Congrats to JBD on becoming a granny :T

LavenderBees, I totally get where you are coming from, because of the stress you are currently under at work you don’t need the added pressure of a weight loss challenge and perhaps taking your mind off food may have surprisingly positive results. This weekend I denied myself NOTHING, there were copious amounts of wine consumed, dainty Italian cakes & pastries, eating out, generous amounts of cream & butter in the meals I cooked, along with substantial breakfasts eaten – to keep us warm and make sure our energy levels didn’t flag whilst we were out and about.

Glad to hear you found some seeds to sprout, I happened to be at the garden centre and noticed they had extended their range, including small packs (approx 35g) of Black Eyed Beans, Chickpeas, Mung Beans & various lentils all at £1.99 :eek:– think I will stick to the 500g packs you get at the supermarket for under £1

Meals today are going to be using up some of the weekend leftovers -
    B – Toast & Pate
    L – L/O Risotto & salad
    D – Chicken Salad & coleslaw
    Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
    July - Grocery spends = £119.54
    Aug - Grocery spends = £16.93

    Afternoon everyone,

I woke in the night with the worst headache I have ever had and now have a stinking cold :o. I think that because work has been so horrible lately and ive been run down the minute ive stopped ive got ill- IYSWIM :o

I was going to go swimming today but obviously havent!! Although I have done 2 hours of gardening- according to the weather today is about the only dry day we are going to see all week  and I just had too much to do outside to let a cold stop me

I have had poached eggs on toast today so far but due to feeling so carp im going to give myself the day off from dieting

    Happy bank hols everyone :)
