Afternoon everyone. I'm another one who is slipping back into bad habits, so have decided to start posting my daily meal plans again [and sticking to them, lol] to help me get back onto the straight and narrow.
I have had to buy some new clothes for the hot weather [I have been overweight for so long I had nothing whatsoever to fit]. TBH, I would really prefer to have been a size smaller by now] and feel I have let myself down a little bit. So I really must focus now and try my hardest. No excuses.
My meal plans are -
B - 2 small slices of wholemeal toast, 1 mashed banana, sprinkling of nuts
L - falafels, homemade tatziki, salad, jersey potato, 2 nice biscuits
T- wholemeal sandwich with cottage cheese, salad.
S's -yoghurt, fruit, brazil nuts
have a good day everyone.0 -

Hi all, I've been lurking on this thread a while and would like to join you if I may. I'm desperately in need of losing a few stones
I have lost weight a few times before but always fell off the wagon spectacularly and put more back on than I lost. I now need to keep up a sensible, portion-watching lifestyle diet, and pick up a bit of gentle exercise too.
I've been ill today but managed to eat (of course):
B - small handful hazelnuts, cold soya milk with coffee
D - two chicken sausages and five small yorkshire puds
S - Choceur chocolate with almonds (50g)
- packet of crisps
T - tomato sandwich with light mayo on two slices wholemeal bread.
Sometimes I eat loads of veg, other times hardly any. I'm hoping if I post on here it will embarrass me into being more healthy!
I have read the first post but forgive me if I make any big gaffes... and please let me know so I don't do it again!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Hello jpscloud and sock-knitter I hope it goes well for you.
I have found this thread really useful. For me the thing about it that motivates me most is the public weigh-in on Friday morning. It really helps to keep me on the straight and narrow.
There is a lot of friendly advice available too."Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence."Weight loss challenge:j: week 1~ Napoleon Bonaparte

Weekend hasn't been great food wise, plus too much sangria whilst chuckling at Eurovision won't have helped things! I too will weighing on Friday and post here. I booked my holidays today so I have until 13th September to reach my goal.
Tomorrows meals are all planned:
Smoothie for breakfast
Cheese salad muffin, aldi fat fat peach yoghurt for dins
Aldi fish cake with potatoes, griddled courgettes and veg for tea
Possibly a fruit pastille ice lolly if this heat continues! Am currently smothered in aqueous cream as the heat as caused my eczema to flare up terribly. Only get it on my hands usually but I have it all over my legs and my fore arms now. Boooo!0 -
Morning, All
Went off the rails last night, with a drink and finished off my ice cream...but it was lush! Public flogging for me. On the positive side, I did manage to leave my desk and walk for half an hour yesterday lunch time, but I don't think that balances the books somehow.
It's rained overnight here and is much cooler, so back to normal
Renewed endeavour today - plans are -
Brekkie - hm muesli
Lunch - hm onion quiche from freezer (quarter), hm potato salad, and salad. Banana. Hope the quiche defrosts ok...last time I defrosted hm quiche it was a soggy mess. Still ate it though :rotfl:
Dinner - just off to check as is freezer big surprise...I couldn't tell last night what it was....well, even though it's now defrosted, I still can't tell...honestly, even though you can't see or smell it, you have as much chance of guessing it right as I do...well, whatever it is, it's in a tomato sauce so it's going with some pasta tonight :rotfl:
I will try very hard not to succumb to temptation tonight!
Welcome to the newbies, good luck!
Have a good day, folks!
