Afternoon All,
I am nearly over my cold now so can start back on the right path again after the lapses caused by holiday and feeling ill.
B: Poached egg on toast
L: Stir fry with chicken liver, egg noodles, pepper, mushroom, garlic and onion. Iced raspberry smoothie.
T: (Pack up for work) Prawn salad wrap, raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
Snack : HM scone and butter
Exercise: 10km run/walk. It's only 2 weeks to my 10k now. I managed to do the 10k today with 5 minutes running/ 2 minutes walking as I wanted to ease in gently with having had a cold. Walk to work later

Hi everybody. I can't weigh in this week as I have had to put my wii away for the time being [due to my daughter having violent tantrums over it]. I will do my best this week and hopefully have a good result next time i weigh in.
Well done to everyone who has lost or sts. Keep up the good work.0 -
Well, I can't seem to sleep beyond 5.30am these days, must be the light and the sunshine, so I'm up and about, and working my way through a list of chores. Then I intend to breakfast outside on my "newly made pretty with bonny plants" patio area, and relax for the rest of the day.
Good news! I managed to avoid all thngs Euro yesterday, though radio 2 nearly tried to sneak a song or two past me also, but I was not to be led down that path, thank you, kindly.
Bad news! I spent a fortune at the garden centre (despite buying clearance plants reduced by 75%...can you imagine how much the bill would be at full price!!!!!!!!!!), and my stock up shop last night with lots of lovely winehas nearly blown this month's budget, and I'm only 2 days in to my month
N2BT - I couldn't see any bean or seed thingysto start my sprouting at the Garden centre. Am I being really thick by missing them? I only want to try to start small so don't want to order huge amounts off the internet. My supermarket has lots of interesting looking things like mung beans (I might have that name wrong
) near the now hugely expensive red lentils, so is that the kind of thing I need?
Right, down to business, all this chat is trying to disguise the fact that I was a mega pig yesterday...I did eat what I posted but so much more too. Somebody slap me
Today's plan...and I'm sticking to it.....
Brekkie - bacon, egg, baked beans, hm bread
Lunch - nada thing :rotfl:
Dinner - hm pizza from freezer, oven chips and finish off the beans (forecast is that the wind will get up a bit tonight :rotfl:)
This week will be pot luck of ready meals from the freezer as I can't be bothered to cook today, and I want to reduce the freezer so I can spend another small fortune stocking up that next month.
Enjoy your lovely Sundays everyone. Make the most of it. I'm off to do some ironing....I know how to live :A

I have a small herb garden and one of the herbs I have is Catnip (this one is in a pot) my cat loves it but so do the neighbourhood cats- they all come in my garden in the night and fight over the catnip  this morning the pot had been dragged around the garden

Good Morning Folks,
Another beautiful day, but oh dear my ‘prickly heat’ is raging now . I looked up the NHS website to see if there was anything I could do to try and ease it, their advice – stay out of the sun and try not to sweat! So plan for today - draw the blinds and go sit in a cold bath :eek:
LavenderBees – I didn’t want to have masses of seeds either and managed to get Unwins and Johnstons Sprouting Seeds at both the garden centres close to me (Dobbies and an Independent) they were on display in the seed racks along with other vegetable seeds. I dont know if the likes of B&Q/Homebase have them I didn't look there.
I haven’t tried any of the beans/pulses other than the green Mung Beans in the hopes that I would get fat beansprouts like the ones in the supermarket, but mine were a bit spindly - I maybe didn’t leave them long enough before eating, but haven’t done them again - prefer making soup with the beans.
Hope you manage to find some soon as they do make a nice change in salads.
Menu for today
B – Boiled Egg & an oatcake
L – Smoked Sausage Salad (that I didn’t eat yesterday as I was too hot)
D – Aubergine Lasagne, broccoli
Treat – Elderflower Cordial & Tonic in a posh wine glass- DundeeDoll see what you’ve started :rotfl:

Oh, yes, well, I was being thicko - I didn't look at the seeds :rotfl:Sometimes I wonder how I manage to get through life reasonably safely :rotfl:I'm not even a natural blonde
I have my jar, tights and water....just need the seeds.
I've chopped down and dug up a bush that had grown too large for my wee front garden, so now have a gap to fill so next weekend, I can feel a (nother) trip to the garden centre coming on. I'll have a look at the seed display then
Oh dear, thicko me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Well, I'm revising tonight's dinner - is now going to be hm pizza, new potato salad (as I have mayo and various bits to use up), and salad.
This afternoon, I [STRIKE]may[/STRIKE] have to have strawberries & ice cream....

Isn't this weather just beautiful?! I feel like I've come alive this past few days
LB my day yesterday was very similar to yours in part, no eww-ro 'songs', and I too headed to the garden centre to spend a small fortune. Ah well it's only once (or twice, or...) a year
Back to today
B - mashed banana in ff yogurt
D - egg, tomato, mushroom onion, garlic small piece of de-fatted gammon and a Cumberland sausage (note I listed the not-so-bad first) Apple
T - will be the usual crackerbread, 1xprawn, 1xmarmite, 1xmarmalade
S - pear, kiwi, satsuma, melon
E - 15 mins this morning, back to the gardening this afternoon. There must be some small space somewhere to plant the remaining 4 boxes of bedding
Have a sunny rest of the day0 -
