I am reporting a sts. I am not too surprised after all the eating on our little Blackpool trip. Will do better next week.

NTBT I too agree with all the others about it

Holy Moly………what a week I’m having. As planned I went out into the glorious sunshine to cut the grass and after 10mins the mower died in a puff of smoke …aaaaaaaaargh. Got a new one, luckily I had saved up a bit on my nectar card but it still dented the budget a bit. It seemed to take forever to put the thing together, so a job that should have taken 40mins took me three hours  – at least the sun is still shining and looks set to continue for another few days :)

Anyway, forgot to post today’s meals this morning
    B – Yoghurt & Fruit
    L – Salad Sandwich
    D – Veg & Lentil Curry, poppadum’s x 3
    Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
    July - Grocery spends = £119.54
    Aug - Grocery spends = £16.93

Well, it has been a lot worse recently...

    First breakfast - Cornflakes
Second Breakfast - Tinned peaches with LF greek yogurt.
Lunch - yogurt, bowl of cut up fruit (I eat a lot more when I cut it up!)
Snacks - biscuits, freddo, 2 chipolatas
Dinner - Chicken in spicy sauce with brown basmati rice
Pudding - butterscotch ice cream, in a cone to stop me eating so much!

That's a lot, but nothing compared to what I had been putting away!
June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

    Morning, Everyone

Starting to get bored with this lovely weather now ;)

    Today's plan is -

brekkie - has to be a bacon sarnie, I'm afraid. It's the only thing that will satisfy me this morning...just waiting for it to defrost

lunch - cheese/crackers/hm chutney/crisps - will be gardening so something easy but satisfying

dinner - have just got a couple of pieces of hm pizza out of the freezer. I have to avoid Eurovision tonight as I really can't abide it so I may go food shopping tonight instead of tomorrow, and just want something quick and easy to eat.

Enjoy a stunningly lovely weekend, all.

    LB xx

    Morning all :)

LB I so agree, the Euro song thing has to be the worst programme ever. Hope it's light this evening so I can spend my time more usefully, ie sitting in the evening sun :D

Easy food day today after last night's barbecue, only had one piece of french bread but lots of salad, a sausage and a steak. Was quite controlled in fact. We won't mention the pud I took ;)

    B - porridge
D - hm chunky chicken & veg soup. Apple
    T - 3 Crackerbread with marmite/rf cheese&pickle/marmalade
S - pear, nectarine, kiwi, melon
    E - gardening

    Have a sunny day :)

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
