Morning all :). Am at home today so nothing can go wrong (can it?!), it's been very up and down, foodwise, these past few days so need to get back to normal.

    B - Spicy fruity porridge
D - salmon pasta bake. Apple
T - 3 crackerbread spread with ff yogurt, usual toppings
    S - Melon, nectarine, pear
E - 15 mins this morning, am wearing my new trainers which are quite scary, they tend to throw me off balance so walking is very precarious! I'm assured I'll get used to them in a week or so, I do hope so. Will just have to percy vere.

No sun here yet but the washing is on the line and the lawnmower will appear later

    have a sunshiny day :)

Are they the type of trainers which are supposed to tone you as you wear them?

I'm really struggling on the diet now. I have already spent the May budget, not so diet food left in the house. I've been scouring all posted meals for ideas.

You don't need diet food, simply eat normal food but reduce the portion sizes...

    .

Yes, they're called ProTone and are said to exercise/tone feet/ankles/calves etc. My DD wears them and says she wouldn't go back to ordinary trainers now. They still feel strange/wobbly, but I'm getting a bit more used to them now I've worn them for a few hours. Has anyone else tried them, and found them beneficial? (Or not?!)

    Beautiful, beautiful weather today!

I'd just like to say I won't be weighing in for the next couple of weeks, as I'm off on holiday to sunny Jordan and Egypt tomorrow! :j:cool::cool: Trust the weather to get gorgeous as soon as I fly away!

It's looking to be a fairly active trip though, with lots of hiking around Petra, horseriding, canyoning, etc. so hopefully that will counterract all the fabulous Middle Eastern food! (in Jordan at least).

So, I've weighed myself today and I'd like to put down a 2lb loss for this week, ragz, but then I won't be back till the Jubilee Bank holiday Monday!

Good luck to you all this Friday and I'm sure this week will be a good 'un due to the sunshine, which always cheers everyone up and prevents the bingeing! :)
    :)

    Hi Folks

Another productive day spent in the garden, only problem it has left me with my usual suntan – lobster red – any more days like this and the prickly heat will start too. I love being out in the sunshine, just a shame that I’m allergic to it :(

More store cupboard and freezer living for me, trying to keep my budget low as I’ve got road tax to pay for
    B – Toast, spreading cheese & cucumber
    L – Corned Beef & salad sandwich
D – Mince, mash pots & green beans.

Sparrer - I need to get new trainers, so I'll be interested in how you get on.
    Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
    July - Grocery spends = £119.54
    Aug - Grocery spends = £20.63
