Morning Folks,
Feeling a bit disgruntled today and not really in the mood for being healthy. I don’t like to think of myself being a “control freak” but I’m in the position of having to wait patiently, twiddling my thumbs, for others to do “their thing” and I just want to stamp my feet and shout “I want it and I want it NOW!!”
I could go shopping to make myself feel momentarily better, but I’ll only feel worse when the statements come in, best to channel this negative energy into sorting out the spare bedroom, which has become a bit of a dumping ground whilst I’ve been decorating. So I’m off armed with my trusty hoover, bin bags, stardrops and cloths; some of my favourite music blaring from the stereo to get the job done.
I will try and stick to my menu, but there is unopened pack of biscuits in the cupboard which is whispering to me, when it starts shouting I’m in trouble.

Morning all
N2BT you sound just like me, I'm single but could feed an army for a week on bargains 'too good to pass by'! I miss French onion soup, have tried making it without alcohol but it's impossible to get the flavour right without it. Ah well, just have to stick with my chicken and leek.
Have to admit to having two fairy cakes yesterday. I'm chief cake maker for our Jubilee Day and they have to be gluten free, which I've not done before so had a trial run, and taste, and they're lovely. Strong approval from my DNeighbour's DD also so I know they're good
B - Spicy fruity porridge
D - Veg omelette made with 1 egg, and sauteed onion, garlic, celery, grated carrot, peas, green beans filling. Apple
T - Crackerbread, 1xmarmite, 1xprawn, 1xmarmalade
S - Plums, pear, melon, banana
E - 15 mins inc weights done, another 15 mins this afternoon
Enjoy the day0 -

Hello all
Just been catching up on everyone's posts. I've not been on for a while, just haven't had time to post! I didn't do too badly at the weekend, but the excess alcohol for my friend's birthday party meant by Monday morning I'd put on 2lb!:eek: To be honest though, I was relieved it was only 2 and that it was all probably booze bloat. Sure enough, this morning I'd already lost one of the excess pounds.
Yesterday went like this:
B: 1/2 banana
L: 2 Ryvita with LF cottage cheese w/ onions and chives.
S: 1 x small chocolate, milk for coffees, apple.HM tomato, chickpea and basil soup with 2 slices white toast.
Today's menu will probably be exactly the same - I find eating the same things every day, however boring, means I crave food less as its not exciting at all!:p
Exercise so far this week has been lots of walking but today I'll go for a nice long run.
Have a lovely afternoon all xx0 -
Hi all. Feeling awfully bloated today my boobs are bursting out my bra and I feel like I've got a hot water bottle strapped to my belly. Oh hormonal joys! Monday went like this
B: nothing
L: HM mushroom soup with HM bread
T: meat pasta salad and later bacon sandwich
S: watermelon
E: body balance and cx worx"Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0 -

Not been on for a few days. Had too much wine on Saturday night and it made me ill. I have not had a drink for 5 weeks and with the healthy eating and exercise my body couldn't cope with the alcohol. I was ill for 2 days so that is me off the wine.
I am back on track now though
B: Porridge
L: Baked potato and beans with salad.toasted Egg sandwhich
S: Sugar free jelly and LF fromage Frai
E: 1 hour swimming, walk to leisure centre (30 mins) walk into town then back home (4 miles)
Will be having another snack when DS gets home from his club , not sure what yet.Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -
Morning, All
Gorgeous day here (so far...). What a mood lifter to wake up to sunshine and blue skies for a change.
Was good as gold for a 2nd day in a row yesterday.:T I might start recording "Good as Gold" days in the same way I record no spend days to try to spur me in to hit a monthly challenge. Hmmm....there's a thought, actually.
Today is exactly the same as yesterday. I'm going to turn into a vegetable soon..........:rotfl:
Enjoy your Wednesday, folks. Keep on keeping on...
