Morning all,
just popping in quickly to report a STS this week.
At the moment I am feeling like giving up, and just accepting the weight I am. I felt I had a really good week of eating within calorie limits and upping the exercise as well as keeping on the move all day because we have been decorating a couple of bed rooms, and then nothing to show for it.
I am fed up of constantly thinking about food and weight, what I can and can't eat and how much exercise I have done!
Sorry for the rant.
Did you see the bigest looser on channel 4 at the start of the year?
Sometimes this happened to them, but did you see how fantastic they all looked after 28 weeks?
Don't give up, it is true that muscel is heavier than fat, or maybe it is just water retention or TOTM, so maybe this week your weight has stade the same, but it will be going down in the long run. keep going.savesummore wrote: »Have you tried recording your cals on My Fitness Pal? I've just signed in to that to see what it is about.

Hi, All
Monday again...comes round with monotonous regularity but luckily there's only one Monday morning :rotfl:. I feel like I've slept most of the weekend away, but have woken this morning feeling more positive, and determined to get back on track. I've rid the house of anything chocolate-y or wine-y...unfortunately, most of it into my tummy, but still, it's gone, thank goodness.
So, back on the wagon with a vengeance today and today's plan is -
brekkie - hm muesli
lunch - spring vegetable soup and hm bread
dinner - mince (filled out with veges and lentils) with more veges and mashed potato (no milk or butter)
Thanks for the positive vibes...I'm starting to feel them coming through now :T
Have a good Monday, folks.

Hi Folks
Did more veggie shopping at the weekend – I couldn’t resist Lid!’s weekend specials on aubergine, spinach and 5kg of onions – oh dear…what does a singleton do with that amount of onions . Hopefully most of them will last a while before sprouting but just about to go through them checking for rotten/soft ones, then it looks like onion soup, onion tart, and stuffed onions will be on the menu this week – good job I love onions…..and I wonder why I’m single :rotfl:
Todays Menu =
B – Toast, spreading cheese, cucumber & tomato
L – French Onion Soup (without the cheesy crouton)
D - Ham, courgette & broad bean salad, spicy onions.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Mornin' all
Weekend went OK although I wasn't strict with myself.
Need2bthrifty you could chop and freeze your onions. They are easy to use afterwards. I just bung them in whatever I'm cooking.
Today
Breakfast : Grapes, pear and kiwi with LF yoghurt
Lunch : Oatcakes with LF soft cheese, Sugar free jelly
Mid afternoon : A handful of nuts
Evening meal : LO lamb casserole with jacket potato
Half a pint of skimmed milk for drinks
Won't be posting tomorrow as Mum is taking me to London to see the Jersey Boys matinee.

I have got to get a grip of my eating this week I think ive been abit lucky last couple of weeks to lose a 1lb a week rather than actual real effort!

B: 1 HM toast scrape butter, 2 x boiled eggsww reciepe coq au vin (left overs from yesterday) maybe small slice of bread
T: Pollock with crushed new pots, chriozo, lemon, parsley and fine green beans- saw it in a magazine so thought id give it a whirl

Thanks Robson65, I will freeze some – need to sort out the freezer first, seems to be full of cauliflower and nameless concoctions – I really should use stuff up before buying and making more but couldn’t resist such a bargain.
Savesummore – the soup was lov..er..ly - although a bit naughty with all that butter, oil & wine (Delia’s recipe) which is why I cut out the cheesy croutons..…4 portions left – 1 for tomorrow & 3 to freeze, only problem the whole house smells of caramelized onions.
Weather’s chucking everything at us here today – sun, hailstones & rain – but managed to get a good bracing walk in between showers.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
