Hi Molly41 - and all. I tried to post yesterday but from my phone and it kept not doing it, very frustrating!
Sorry I've been awol, I was busy all day yesterday buying curtains and looking at cookers, now I wake up and the ceiling over the stairs has turned brown and is wet and sagging! Landlord will be here in an hour, the place is a tip and we are going out to a family lunch today then a friend's son's birthday party tomorrow that I am helping with...
Doctors on Monday to see if they can sort out my thyroid symptom, I am feeling totally crazy and fell asleep in Yoga the other day which was really embarassing.
Moving in a week and I havne't really packed anything. arrghhhh it's too much!
Not lost any weight but not gained either so STS which is quite an achievement for me at the moment. Well done to all the losers and for the rest of us, there's always next week!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Morning All,
It's fab to see lovely sunshine and blue skies here for a change, but a bit chilly.
Yesterday's buffet at work was delish, and lifted all our spirits, and even though I wasn't hungry, I managed to scoff my mussels and bread last night...
Today is different again in that it's my dad's birthday and we're off to the lovely restaurant again that is quickly becoming a family favourite.
So, brunch is boiled egg and hm bread for toast, and dinner is whatever the lovely hard working chefs have prepared that catches my eye...:T
Tomorrow I'll be dragging myself back to normality and will make a spring vegetable soup for lunches for next week. I desperately need to get back to low calorie, healthy food to halt this sabotage of mine. Please send me your positive vibes, folks.....
Enjoy your Saturdays. Hope you too have the sunshine
LB xx
P.S Ragz, I was exhausted reading your list of chores and woes. Wish I could help in some way. But as Sparrer said in an earlier post "This too will pass". Hold onto that thought...

Hi Ragz, I only have 1 smiley face for my 2lb loss
pretty please can I have another
Sorry you are feeling so stressed, do take careLife is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -
Morning All
:j:j A lovely sunny morning here too, at last I will get out to cut the grass – must be about 3inches long, so should use up a good few calories getting that job done.
Yesterday’s lunch went off track; unexpected visitors meant ham sarnies all round, so tomato & mozzarella salad shall be had today.
Got some of @ldi super 6 courgettes yesterday so this week’s meals will be planned around using them, today it will be a toss-up between Courgette souffle or Stuffed Courgettes depending how I feel later.
Hudson2012 – Good luck with your exams
Ragz – my heart goes out to you – moving house is bad enough without everything else you are having to deal with. Positive vibes being sent your way and to you to LavenderBees – it will all fall into place……hopefully.

LB what you said to ragz is right, it will pass, and sooner than you think! When my feet didn't touch the ground, there was a permanent dust storm all around me, everyone seemed to demand my attention 24 hours a day and my head felt it was going to fall off from all the spinning it did I never imagined a time when I could sit in silence and do the things sparrer wanted to do when she wanted to do them, when my time was my own and not a single demand was made of me...when it got so boring I had to go scratching around for things to fill the time. Now I'm out 4 days out of 7, and more if I need/want to be and those 3 spare days are my me time. Have just about achieved a perfect (for me) balance - but had to wait til I was retired to do it :rotfl:. I know it's impossible to believe now but in the not to distant future you'll look back and not remember the feelings of angst, you might even laugh about it. Keep your chin up and look for the silver lining, it's there somewhere, honest. In the meantime give yourself a pat on the back for being able to cope with whatever life throws at you
B - spicy fruity porridge
D - stir fry chicken & veg. Apple
T - 3 crackerbread w/marmite, philly, marmalade
S melon, grapes, pear, nana mashed into ff yogurt
E - 15 mins usual, plus weights - I certainly know I've got a heavier one
Have a bright day and if it all gets too much retreat at double time to the loo with a good book0 -
Morning all,
just popping in quickly to report a STS this week.
At the moment I am feeling like giving up, and just accepting the weight I am. I felt I had a really good week of eating within calorie limits and upping the exercise as well as keeping on the move all day because we have been decorating a couple of bed rooms, and then nothing to show for it.
I am fed up of constantly thinking about food and weight, what I can and can't eat and how much exercise I have done!
Sorry for the rant.
Oh Mazzy I feel for you its sooooo frustrating to be trying your best and not getting anywhere
Have you tried recording your cals on My Fitness Pal? I find this really helps to 'control' what i am eating
Im sending you wieght loss vibesLavenderBees wrote: »

Erm im alittle hungover today
Think it might be down to the 6 (small-as if thats my saving grace!) glasses of wine I had last night:eek:
I then had to soak it up with thai fish cakes (starter) and Thai red curry with sticky rice
Im a very naughty savesummore but I did really enjoy last night and ive got nearly a week to burn off those extra cals :rotfl:
Trouble is im craving carbs and sleep today so cant see today being great eitherO/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -
Morning all
Down to serious business this week, have sts but not overly worried as I think all the fine dining has caught up with me. However no more planned til end of the month, and early June. Went to Mr M last night and bought some goodies which I'm hoping will move me down a lb this week
B - 30g F&F, sk milk
D - steamed cauli & brocolli, dry roast red onion, parsnip, slice chicken
T - 3 Crackerbread 1xmarmite, 1xrf cheese/dab of pickle, 1xmarmalade
S - Pear, melon, apple, grapes
E - 20 mins this morning inc stretch/weights. Maybe more later but meeting friends so depends what time I get back
Re-reading through calories (I'm doing low fat but like to check calories/sugar etc occasionally) can't believe a banana is 100 calories! I know they're high in carbs for a fruit but with the two together I think I'll have to cut down my evening banana to a couple of times a week. Even if we think we know it's worth checking to refresh our memory
It's beautiful out there so going to spend some time in the fresh air. Have a great day0 -

I'm with you Mazzzy and felt the same as you, however I have given myself a good talking too and determined to do my very best this week. I have vowed to plan my calories on MyFitnessPal before I eat, rather than afterwards at the end of thday like I usually do and that has worked well for today. When I had a little munchy moment this afternoon I felt less inclined to indulge and just ate a chopped up carrot, as I knew already my calories were all taken care of.I am feeling totally crazy and fell asleep in Yoga the other day which was really embarassing.
Don't be too hard on yourself, it probably did you good; I have often heard people snoring at yoga.Mortgage
