Well good news at the doctors :D, 7 lb weight loss and blood pressure is now 135 over 86 (was 150 over 110  )so coming down a bit. If I can do that in a month I am sure I can get it back to normal in the 3 months she has given me.
Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.

I went to try a combat fit class at my local gym yesterday. I was the only one who turned up - so it was like having a personal trainer. :cool2: Turns out combat fit is boxing by another name. :j I loved it!!! :j Who would have thought that!!!!!

But today. OMG. The muscles that are aching!! Above my boobs most, but arms - soooo painful driving on the school run. My stomach (why for boxing?) My legs!!! My neck, My back muscles, My shoulders.

Well I can understand my shoulders and arms being a bit surprised but all the other muscles? I must have done a full body workout and never even realised.

Aldahbra – You go gal – I did try a boxercise class years ago and they always said nobody can throw a punch without tightening their stomach muscles – so you get a really good abs and overall workout, just hope for your sake others start turning up or they may stop it, thats what tends to happen here.

Got myself a bit more organised today so made a dent in my “things to do” list – but have to admit this weather is getting me down and not improving my mood – It’s May for God’s sake, we had warmer weather here in February!!

Anyway despite a couple of comfort eating crackers & peanut butter I stuck pretty much to my menu, but don’t feel that the scales will have moved tomorrow.
    B – Yoghurt & fruit
L – Toast, cheese, cucumber, tomato
D – Roast pork, mashed swede & a couple of boiled pots.

    Good luck for the WI.

By the way the rhubarb chutney I made yesterday tasted lovely with a bit of a hot kick to it, but whilst in the pan resembled a rather large bubbling cow-pat = guess who's the sparrow in the s**t now and keeping their mouth shut!!

    Morning all,

Friday at last! :j We're having a wee surprise buffet at work at lunchtime to celebrate the lovely news that one of our girls has been matched with baby girls (twins) and is going off on adoption leave after today. It won't help the eating plan though:rotfl:

    So, today's plan is -

    Brekkie - hm museli
Lunch - pot luck buffet :T
Dinner - mussels in white wine sauce & hm ciabatta :T

Yep...probably won't be weighing myself next week either :(

Good luck for those who will be weighing in today.

    LB xx

Sorry to hear some of you are having problems/anxieties, hang in and there and remember, this too shall pass.
this is one of my mum's favourite phrases 'this too shall pass' and you're right Sparrer, just difficult when one's in the thick of it.
For my part not sure if I'm sorting the stress at work. Seem to be getting back on top of some of it :D
Pleased to report I've got my 2 smiles back so 2lb for me. And renewed determination to record here everyday.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Morning folks

Another wonderful day here – 8c and raining again – oh joy. But at least I’m feeling less tired and a bit more enthusiastic thanks to getting a good night’s sleep.

I had thought with all the potatoes and pasta I’ve eaten this week that I would have gained but phew…got away with it this time and I’ve STS.

Heading out to top up on F&V supplies than for exercise today I’ll be taking a leaf from the “Flylady’s” book and wash down the kitchen cupboards & walls.

For my menu today I’ll try and put a bit of sunshine on my plate
    B – Banana on Toast
L – Tomato and Mozzarella Salad
D – HM Vegetable Pizza and maybe a glass or two of wine (Friday Treat)

Hope you all have a good day and well done to the losers :T
