    Morning, All

Gorgeous morning here. I've been up and about since 5am as can't sleep once I wake up iykwim...brain kicks in immediately. But it's quite a productive part of the day, unlike evenings when I'm too tired to do anything but vege...

Yesterday...? Well, I'm afraid I'm still in sabotage mode but a little less so. I briefly weighed myself last night and appear to have put on 5lbs . I'll wait until Friday to declare properly, but I strongly suspect quite a few smiley faces will be disappearing from my name :(

So, today's plan to ignore then is -

    Brekkie - Hm muesli
Lunch - smoked salmon salad as I have some salmon left from defrosting for last night's tea, and a bit of hm bread
Dinner - defrosting lentil curry and will have with some brown rice.

I've drawn up my shopping list for next week's grub, and it's all just vegetables - I fancy making a kind of spring vegetable soup for lunches.

Have a lovely wednesday eveyone. Nearly the weekend...

    LB xx

P.S. Need2bethrifty - thanks for the info on sprouting seeds. I'll take a look at the garden centre in a couple of weeks (trying to avoid for now so I don't spend unexpected money). but it's definitely something I'll try soon. xx

Your appetite shrinking isn't a bad thing. When I was last pregnant 9 years ago, they made this big deal about how you shouldn't weigh yourself when you are pregnant and shouldn't diet. I honestly believe it was the worst food advice I have ever had. I put on so much weight in my pregnancies and it means I was massive and found it hard to run round after toddlers. Obviously you need enough nutrition but you need to keep an eye on things too.

Thanks :) I'm really aware that I can't afford to put on excess weight, so that's why I'm still posting here and tracking my food, to hopefully prevent me from gaining too much :) Midwife has advised me to try and keep my gain to less than a stone, as my BMI is already over 30, although not to actively try to lose weight. With the morning sickness etc I've actually lost a few pounds since I got pregnant, this morning I was the lightest I've been in at least 6 years! :o My appetite is starting to come back, but I can still only eat small portions so I'm going to try and stick to that, I have plenty of reserves for the baby to use ;)

Big congratulations on the size 16 trousers btw! Keep up the good work

    Meals:

    Snack: grapes, babybel light
Lunch: seedy roll with chicken, petit filous big pot, satsumas

Dinner: mince and onion pie, mash, peas, leeks, gravy

    Hi all :)

B - spicy fruity porridge, ran out of sultanas so chopped up some dried apricots and let them soften in the porridge on low for half an hour, and it's delicious! Just as well it worked out cos I've made enough for 4 days!
D - Veg korma with a slice of chicken, 1/2 mini naan. Apple
    T - 3 crackerbread, 1x marmite, 1xphilly with a dab of Br@nston, 1xmarmalade
S - melon, apple, banana, grapes
E - 15 mins this morning, with difficulty cos I ache so much from spending yesterday doing the gardening :( Will do some more later - exercise, not gardening as it's raining again

Hope the sun shines where you are :)

    Hi Folks,

It’s another one of those days, I just can’t seem to get organised, there’s a huge list of things to do but motivation is lacking and can’t decide what to do first, to make matters worse I’m getting really fed up of doing the hokey cokey with my washing it’s in…it’s out..in..out and shaken all about.

So rather than bore myself doing mundane cleaning and tidying I’m going to try making some rhubarb chutney and rhubarb sauce – thou I'll probably end up choking myself on the vinegar fumes :rotfl:

Even todays menu seems to be causing me problems as I’m in the mood for comfort food….so after a healthy start I gave in
    B – Yoghurt & stewed rhubarb
    L – Fried Egg Sandwich
T - [STRIKE]??could be a curry, a chunky pasta sauce, sausage casserole[/STRIKE] – I only know it’s a tomato based sauce with red peppers in it…….I really must learn to label freezer stocks

Its now defrosting and it's MEATBALLS :j:j

    Hi

Sorry have been MIA for the last week or so have been having a bit of a tough time. I went to see my gran in hospital the weekend before last and although she is doing well it was really hard seeing her with all the wires and tubes. The nurse has said that they are really happy with her progress and are going to be moving her off the HDU soon.

It really has had an effect on me and I've been feeling really down. :(

Work has been a nightmare too, there's loads of back biting and moaning about things and it makes it really hard just to get on and do your job. I don't want to get dragged into it and I've been finding I've got to spend most of the day with my headphones on to drown them out so I can concentrate.

I've been to get some treatment for my knee and have been told I can't go to the gym or go walking for 2 weeks. I'm finding it tough as I use the excercise to help cope with stress and now I can't do that I'm starting to stray towards comfort eating, like in the bad old days. I haven't weighed in for a week or so because I can't face getting on the scales and seeing how bad the damage has been  :(

I'm having a day at home tomorrow and I'm Hoping that having a little break from the office and getting back to posting on here might help me get back on the straight and narrow.

Sorry for a bit of a ramble :o Hope everyone is doing ok, will try and catch up on the posts I've missed tomorrow.

    tink x
