That's the nearest I'll see my name in lights :rotfl:
You can't go wrong with a small plate, there's no room for excess
B - cuppa, milk. 1 slice toast, butter
L - leftover lasagne - small portion
S - 3 malted milk biscuits, cuppa, tangerine
D - pork chop (grilled) peppercorn sauce, steamed veg, roast potatoes.
I am planning on having a hot chocolate after the bath tonight.
Oh, found a ditsy dress in CS for £3. It is a size 14. I loved it, I bought it. I can't get into it properly yet but I will
Thanks for the support friends0 -
I find drinking a glass of water/sugar free squash fills me up a bit before a meal. This helps with my portion control too, what I can eat after a glass of water is what I should be eating normally!£20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0

Could you please put me down for a 3lb loss.
I am really pleased as that is a loss is only from tuesday and I have not deprived myself of anything just used smaller plates and tried to keep my hands busy so I am not picking as much. I will start exercising on monday when the kids go back to school.
Well done to everybody on your losses.Lose 20lb in 12 weeks 5/200 -
Can I join in please, I have been reading through everyone's posts and am inspired by your efforts.
I didn't sign up sooner because I'm still eating through the remains of the goodies - just about to have pudding (last of the Clootie Dumpling with the last of the fresh cream)
I did weigh myself this morning and shock horror need to lose a bit more than I thought - will aim for 9lbs this time around, which will get me down to a more comfortable 10st, meaning that I shouldn't have to breath in so much to get my trousers fastened.
Good luck everyone and must say I'm enjoying the variety of meal plans that everyone comes up with.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Evening All
Good to see all the weight losses. I didn't get weighed this week but will wait for next Friday, when hopefully I will have a loss to report. I did a bit more charity shop shopping today and got a lilac Laura Ashely knitted jacket and cream top, and a rather nice sweater plus some new ankle boots all for £15 so was very pleased. I also took DS, DDiL and DGD out to lunch as DH was away for the day.
B: Fruit and nut muesli with sultanas
L: Double egg and chips. Coke
T: Cheese, tomato and garlic on toast. Bowl of muesli for pudding!
Snacks: 6 toffees over the day - which is twice as many as I'd planned so I've given the rest of the bag to DH now he is home to hide from sight and dole out sparingly when I need a sweet treat.
Exercise: Friend and I went for a 6 mile walk which included in it running for 4 minutes quite fast (rather than jogging) 4 times so 16 minutes of running in total. I then walked to cafe and back and round town with the charity shops so another couple of miles.

Hello
Is it too late to join in? Just weighed myself after reading this thread and was horrified. I weigh 11st 6lb and the BMI says I'm obese.(only 5'1") Not going to get upset, I have been comfort eating for too long as there seemed to be a good reason for it last year-work problems and my father died.
I really need to lose 2 stone so will aim for 21lbs by Easter and look forward to reading all your hints. Will start the smaller plate thing tomorrow.
Going to try and add a signature now!!
Thanks Penguinnweight loss 6/21 lbs0 -
Good evening all,
Fairly good day for me today, must be all the happy healthy vibes fom here
weighed in at 10, 9lb so a 3lb loss for me ragz
Oh and ragz, thanks for coordinating this again
B: porridge
S: fruit
L: salad sandwich, coffee
S: small bite of ginger cake and a mini twixpitta bread and spicy paneer
S: club bar
Ok, so fairly heavy on chocolate compared to this week but it was a bad work day. No excuse i know.
Still no exercise, been mad days at work so exhausted by the time i'm home and have sorted twins and dh out! Did my 1 hour walk to work and back though. I have found that weight only shifts when i really exercise so need to do this.
Healthy weekend everyone0 -
Hi, can I join the challenge please? I signed up to this thread a while back but still couldn't get motivated to lose weight, so gave up and am now up to 10st 11lbs and very depressed about it.
According to my Wii fit my ideal weight for my height is 8st 12lbs, so that's what I'm aiming for long term, but for the challenge I will aim for 12lbs.
I officially started back on my diet today and have been really good so far, and was pleased with myself that I didn't give in to the temptation of the 'naughty cupboard' at work, although I have to admit to having a bag of crisps when I got home, but it's better than the 500g box of shortbread that OH and I have eaten between us in the last 2 evenings !Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs
