  • Good evening all,

Good day today although needed a lot of willpower to stay away from the biscuits!

    Food today:

B: coffee, 1 slce bread with peanut butter
    S: fruit
L: small veg sushi box and half can tomato soup
    S: coffee and more fruit
D: 2 quorn brgers, small scoop mash and few bits of brocolli
S: lovely club bar sitting here, calling my name...

Need to pick up the exercise somehow, not doing much at all at the mo apart from regular walking.
  • Evening all

I've been feeling really hungry all day today for some reason. I did eat a bit more than planned but still happy with it.

    B: porridge
    L: salad, egg and colelaw
    D: chicken stir fry
snacks 1 slice seeded toast with yogurt (thanks Sparrer), pom bears, snack sushi pack
1/2 pint milk in decaf teas

going to weigh in tomorrow so I am crossing my fingers for a loss :)
  • Well not a great day foodwise but on the plus side all the Christmas goodies are now gone :) I'm starting tomorrow and will try calorie counting with MFP although 1570 still seems a lot. Maybe it won't seem that much when I'm eating it! Just walking lots at the moment but I do have an active job so that helps. I want to go swimming at some point but not sure I can face it right now.... to many wobbly bits. An exercise bike sounds like fun.... maybe I could ask on freecycle..... worth a try anyway. Now I need to get my head round keeping an eye on what I eat. Like anything 'practice makes perfect'...... hopefully anyway.
  • Not a bad day today -
B wheat biscuits with milk and a sprinke of half spoon
L couscous with tuna + banana
D jacket potato with veg stroganoff

I was really peckish when I got in from work, but rather than something fatty I had two low fat cream crackers with a cup of tea before dinner. I find that dry they are so slow to eat that I am satisfied after two crackers.

Did sucumb to half a can of creamed rice, but had this without jam or syrup (before I would have smothered it with a generous dollop of either).

I am trying to make small adjustments to my eating rather than huge changes all at once, in the hope that these will become so ingrained that weight loss will follow. Will report in when I have done myWii session tomorrow.

I would like to declare a loss of 2lbs since the end of the last challenge. Hopefully it will see me through next week which will see the witch visiting.

Ragz - many thanks for updating the scores on the doors x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Well done Molly41, Lavenderbees and Nat21luv! Great starts to the challenge. I am same as yesterday, 11st10lbs, which I am happy with as it means the Christmas gain is gone.

Swam last night, 70 lengths in 55 minutes and felt fabulous after it. Really need to get back into my Wii exercise, I bought a yoga ball and weights to do with MyFitnessCoach, so I should really use them.

Will update the List later, well done to all who have lost and good luck to all starting today.

Well done on shifting the Christmas excess ragz and brilliant work Molly41, Lavenderbees and Nat21luv!!

I weighed in this morning as wasn't expecting any loss as lost 1lb on Tuesday and have been eating biscuits, a little too many of them really but I have lost 1lb more! :D

At least I know my calorie intake is about right. I am aiming for 1lb per week so I guess 2lbs this week is beginners luck. Good luck on your weigh ins ;)
