Hello everyone
Well, got on the scales and only lost 1lb, but then I only weighed myself on Sunday so feel I'm heading in the right direction
Well done to everyone else doing the challenge.:T:T0 -
Brilliant start to the new challenge, well done losers and stayers, gainers keep on keeping on
I've lost 1lb this week, happy with that as I've not really tried and apart from some intermittent exercise I seem to have done little but sit. Slowly getting rid of ci though so will be back to normal ( ?:p) in a few days
B - F&F, ss milk
D - grilled bacon (all fat removed, lucky dog), tomato, sausage, mushrooms, dry-dried egg, slice toasted Danish
T - Crackerbread with yogurt, 1 vegemite, 1 lf philly, 1 peanut butter
Snacks - satsumas, apple, melon, grapes chocolate wafer biscuit
Exercise - 10 mins step, 1/2 hour pulm - was asked what that is, it's pulmonary rehab exercise, like aerobics but in slow motion.
Beautiful day here, let's hope the gales have gone. The New Year was well and truly blown in!0 -

I am just staring the challenge today and weighed in at 13st 13lb. I know we don't need to declare it but I wanted to see it in black and white so I've added it to my sig as well. I am already on the list at wanting to lose 14lb so this will take me down to the next stone which works out quite well I think.
Anyway, I haven't had much other than fruit yet to eat but I have done 65 minutes walking with the buggy and dog so I wonder how many extra cals mfp will give me? I think I will have a look.April GC 9th-7th may £0/£3200 -
Hi everyone, some great losses there, the thread is 2 stone lighter already! Can I just remind you all to highlight your loss in red so I can see it as the thread gets busy and I may only have time to skim through. I'll post the list later.
I had a large bowl of fruit and fibre for breakfast, with semi-skimmed milk. Homemade chicken and green veg soup for lunch with a roll and a smearing of spread, followed by an Activia thick and creamy caramel flavour yogurt (4 for £1.09 in Morrisons). These make a really indulgent tasting dessert for only 100 odd calories/3% fat - I wouldn't eat a Mullerlight if you paid me!
Dinner will be chicken and veg-drawer stirfry with noodles. Grapes were half price too so I treated myself to a bag for snacking on (can't justify the usual price of nearly £5 a kilo!). Also stocked up on frozen veg.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

No loss to report here, although only weighed in on Tuesday, so I guess that's to be expected.
I think I'm in denial at the moment, as I've bought a bag of M&Ms (and have eaten them) and also a Tracker bar for later, hopefully they're of the zero calorie variety
.
That aside, at the moment I'm trying to slowly introduce some positive changes to my diet. The first couple I've instigated are to eat breakfast (weetabix) every day and also change to skimmed milk. These two changes are going ok...except I didn't have breakfast this morning (probably why I'm looking for treats this afternoon ).
Next week I'll also start introducing fruit as snacks (I'm not a fruit fan) and will aim to get to the gym a few times.
Good luck to everyone

Congrats to all those with a weight loss this week!
I weighed in this morning at 12st 12lbs which is exactly what I weighed before Christmas, so pleased with that, considering the rubbish I have been eating! I think walking for around 30 mins. every day has helped. So the diet begins....
B. Porridge made with water, a spoon of linseeds and a chopped up pear
L. Salad, 1 slice gouda cheese with 4 gluten free crackers and 1 apple
D. Salmon steak with new potatoes and green beans
Snacks, 1 meringue shell, 4 strawberries, 1 honey rice cake.Summer weightloss challenge
Aim to lose 10lbs:)0 -
hi, please could you put me down for 2lb off :j got a bit of a shock when had gone up to 14 stone when I weighed myself on sunday. Really pleased have managed to get back down to 13st 12, which is where I was before christmas.
Well done everyone, it's been a real boost seeing how everyone is doing... I have to say I think I'm feeling more possitive following the help and support on this thread than I have at any of the weight loss clubs I've been to on and off for the last 8 years
fuddle - great tip about the plates, DH got a bit of a surprise when he got home last night to find the big dinner plates packed away and stored in the shed leaving only the smaller ones. Was nice to see a really full plate of food and yet know the the portion sizes where rightI've always been one do portions that look right on the plate but that aren't necessarily right for me
