Evening everyone
Only weighed myself this morning for my first day of the challenge and I'm *whispers very quietly* 12st 9lbs (well, 12st 8 and 3/4 lbs). Onwards and upwards, I suppose!
I had branflakes for lunch, but possibly the left over Christmas chocolate didn't help this evening. Far better to not have it around, hence why I ate it.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
My food today:
b - cheerios with skimmed milk
l - chicken noodles, small yogurt
s - 2 clematines
t - chicken pasta, slice of bread, half a slice of banana loaf
Hmm, too many carbs today I reckon....Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Put me down for a 1lb loss. Sorry for the late posting, I did weigh myself this morning but have had a busy day starting with a job interview, work, then telling everyone how the interview went. ;-)
Really pleased with the loss as this is since Tuesday - think I'll be making a large batch of the lentil soup over the weekend. It was clearly worth walking out in all that wind, rain and hail on Tuesday!
Well done everyone on the losses. Keep up the good work.0 -
Put me down for a 3lb loss this week. Really happy with this as I only started on Monday.
Am now getting into a routine of coming home from work, change and then do Wii (only 10 minues today as meal cooked quicker than expected, but have done 20 - 25 minutes other days).
Now have the cook at work onside, and she's happy to heat up my home made lunches if necessary (she still has the cakes around though).
It's good to be doing this as a group thing so much nicer than in isolation.0 -
Hello all
Well, we didn't do the meaty stew yesterday - we're doing it today instead. We remembered that we had some cold chicken from the previous day so we had that with fresh salad. BTW we found that Waitrose cooked chicken, which we had on Thursday and the previous Thursday, is really good value and much better value than Tesco. It's a much healthier chicken with more meat and a lot less fat, so it did 2 of us for lunch on 2 successive days. Today we're doing the meaty stew with onion, carrots and celery. We've just had a fried egg, mushrooms cooked in a little oil with balsamic vinegar on wholemeal bread with seeds from the local baker.
My weight this morning is 66.3 kg. Or, 10 stones 6 pounds and a bit. I'm pleased to have got it below 10 1/2 stones, the first time since the early 1980s I think! Way to go, though. I need to get it below 10.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

Not in a very good mood today, I just can't motivate myself. I feel really down and teary. I guess it's a touch of the moany January blues/horrible weather/dark days and darker nights.
Anyway. Had two slics of toast with butter and jam for breakfast and dunked in 6 Rich Tea biscuits in my cup of tea. I feel worse for that and now have to watch what I'm having for lunch. I don't even feel like lunch now but I am cooking a roast dinner later. of course side plate portion. I'm not ruining good work just because I'm a misery bot. I just have to work round it today. What is done is done.0 -
Hi All
Sorry to be late in posting a loss Ragz - I needed to wait (ha ha ha) til someone else was in the house & they could read the scales for me (partially sighted & can't do it myself).
So I'd like to report a 4lb loss :j.
I am amazed, but my 13st starting weight was posted at a certain time of the month when I'm at my most bloated, so although it may not be too accurate I'll take the loss.
Don't know if you other girlies have the same problem - I have an other sub-wardrobe of "monthly" clothes for when I'm really bad & sometimes my weight can merrily increase by lb for a few days - makes tracking weight loss hard, but I figure all that should even out over the months.
I have cut down on wine & snacks, & done a lot more walking this year & I certainly feel better for it even if my stomach still looks huge!
Thanks for all the encouraging posts everyone. And I find that looking back at you gives a better view, a better view...0
