sharon there are some lists of menu's on page 1 of this thread, or you could read through other's daily meals to get some inspiration? hth
(((Hugs))) fuddle, have you got time to go through some holiday pics, and put your fav sunny ones up as your wallpaper/screensaver? We've already had a week of Jan, only another 3 1/2 weeks to go, so don't get despondent. If you want something to look forward to it's only another 16 days til Chinese New Year, if you're anywhere near one of the bigger cities it's great to go along to see how they celebrate. failing all that start getting out your summer clothes and trying them on - and think how loose they'll be by the time summer does come
gardenia sorry you have to have so many clothes, being a lady 'of a certain age' has its advantages, I don't have to go all through that carp any more. Brilliant loss, btw :T

Goal: lose 7lbs0 -
Afternoon All,
We had a jaunt out to a tacky seaside resort today as we had to collect something bought on ebay so went and sat in a seaside cafe eating fish and chips. We just had a mini portion each and I took half the batter off my fish so not too bad. We also had a walk up and down the front in the icy wind!
B: Muesli and sultanas
L: Small fish and chips. 3 toffees
T: More muesli. I didn't seem to have much in to pack up for tea and am really craving muesli at the moment so have put some in a Tupperware pot and put the milk in a flask ready to take to work. It has lots of fruit and nuts in it and I add an extra portion of sultanas too so could be worse.
Exercise: Walk round seaside town plus walk to work later so probably one and a half to two miles.

Please can I join in? I'd love to lose a stone in the 13 weeks, if not more. I have more lots to lose [approx 8 stone] and have already lost 2 and a half stone. My trouble was initially not recognising how big I actually was and not accepting it. I still have days when I feel like that. I read Fatorexia and slowly began to see my problem. Now I must act .......0

Afternoon all. Very inspiring to read what a good start everyone's making. Need to do my weigh in today. Yesterday being Twelfth Night I still counted as part of festive season. Will do weight when OH wakes up from siesta.
Two main challenges for the next week - finish off the festive food, especially large chunk of stilton, without gaining any more weight,
and only make healthy things from three new cookbooks :rotfl::rotfl:
I love to cook so hopefully lots of HM stuff can help with the diet.
Fuddle (((hugs))) - you inspired me to join this thread when you posted about it elsewhere. Well done on your 2lb :T Add Burns Night (25th Jan) to things to cheer up January. Neeps and tatties are quite healthy, and one wee dram shouldn't have too much cals (she says hopefully).
Have a good week everyone - and please nag if I haven't posted starting weight by tomorrow at the latest!0 -
With regards to weight gain nearing/during that time of the month, my WW leader a few years ago was a really harsh, butch 'lady' and she used to laugh at you when you'd say it was nearing that time so I might of put on weight. She used to say that weight gain is purely because you cant control yourself and you've eaten to much. I did try to tell her that its a pretty well known fact that women bloat a little and retain water. She was having none of it and we all sat there in dismay...until someone piped up 'I always knew she was a man!'£20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0

Pretty good day today
B wheat biscuits
L soup and wholemeal roll
D some kind of veg and bean stew / casserole (deffo low fat)
Does anyone else find that as they start to lose weight they spend more time on loo visits? Maybe it's just the cold weather!0
