    Mornin' all

Sparrer your SC Korma sounds delicious. Any chance of the recipe ?
All went to plan yesterday. I seem to be better if I've worked out what I'm going to eat for the day. This is where weekly meal planning comes in I suppose.

    Today

    Breakfast : M*ller light, banana

Lunch : Tuna salad sandwich, Sugar free jelly

Mid afternoon : Two jaffa cakes

Evening meal : HM sausage pie, broccolli and carrots.

Half a pint of skimmed milk for drinks

What sort of things have you done? I need some motivation in the gym these days...:undecided

EllaRose, i've been doing a mixture of different things but just doing a few minutes at a time on each thing. The other night I did a few minutes on the rowing machine to warm up, then lunges with free weights (3 sets of 12 reps), then sit ups on the bosu ball, then some reps on the machines (lateral pull and chest press) then I lay on a mat with exercise ball between my legs and did leg lifts. Then I did a few mins on the stepper and 5 mins walking on the treadmill just to cool down.

I am a total beginner though and am very unfit so this may not feel like enough of a workout for most people, but it really got my heart rate up more than anything else i'd done at the gym and it stops me from getting too bored.

    Today:
    B: cereal bar, 3 plums
    L: spicy parsnip soup, bread
D: filled pasta (something quick as I need to go to the gym after work and then go and vote.)

I've been pretty bad this week. Have been a lot more motivated with regards to exercise but have had no willower when it comes to food and have eaten some rubbish.

Hope you all have a good day and remember to vote! xxx

It sounds like you're right on track though! Its good that you're doing a mixture of resistance work/weights and cardio. I think today I'll do some leg work, as the gym is quieter towards the end of the week its less intimidating to bend and squat everywhere!:)

I doubt I've lost actual pounds this week (tomorrow will tell), but I'm pleased to say I can fit into my "babygro" jeans again! They're still pretty tight and unflattering, but I can sit down in them without disembowelling myself! :rotfl:

    Yesterdays food:
    B: Banana, coffee
L: HM veg soup, 1 ryvita
D: Liver stir fry with bacon, onion, pepper, lots of herbs and noodles
S: 1 packet Indonesian veg crackers, milk for drinks, 4 large olives, 4 slices pepperoni.
    :)

    Hi All :j

Anyone 'seen' lavender bees havent seen any posts for a while.

:jI'm here, but this emoticon jumping up & down is as much energy as you'll get from me at the moment.

Sorry, just been too busy/stressed/fed up to post. Work is just hectic and I feel sick with anxiety all the time - just too much to do (doing 3 people's jobs just now :(), so I haven't had the energy to post, but am reading when I can. Today is the first time I've been able to say enough is enough and am taking a short break.

I'm also eating too much...without a doubt, to try to compensate for the stress.

All round feeling pretty down. BUT I'll be back with a vengeance at the weekend when I can rest up - oh the bliss of 3 whole days off....I LOVE bank holidays.

I am getting very slack at logging onto this thread, must do better.

The last few days have been harder, I have been craving chips and given in 3 times
I am dreading the WI as I doubt I will have lost any this week.

I have been on my treadmill today for the first time in months. It usually makes a good clothes horse :o

I am back at the doctors on the 10th so want to lose a couple of pounds more so I can say I have lost 1/2 stone at least and hopefully my blood pressure is down a bit.

    Food today
B: 2 wholemeal toast and honey
    L: salad sandwhiches
D: oven chips and beans (oh dear)
    S: fruit

Exercise, 30 minutes treadmill and 45 minute dog walk

Thanks Robson, it's only a sachet of Pataks korma paste to which I add a tub of ff yogurt, some slivered almonds and lots of garlic. Sometimes cashew nuts but they're a no-no atm. I chuck in whatever veggies are hanging around and perhaps some chopped apple - luckily it's always tasted okay so far. I slow cook it overnight, or for at least 6/7 hours, leave in the pot to cool/let the flavours blend then I portion the chicken into 7 or 8 into freezer boxes and chuck the veg on top. That's it really :)

Hi Lavender Bees glad your still here :) your posts used to make me smile esp as they were always at the same unearthly hour I have to get up

I hope your work gets better- I also have had extra work piled on with no extra money due to redundancies and with the economy the way it is you dare not say anything for fear of being next for the chop :o

Here's another one looking forward to a 3 day weekend  (thought you may enjoy a drink more than :j) :rotfl:

Ps Im DREADING weight in- ive had a doughnut today :o
