sparrer - I think the back is the hardest place to lose weight , you can do some lifting weights and it's meant to be help, but it's still very slow unfortunately :(

I'm really struggling at the moment with my eating, it's making me feel really rubbish :(:(

    O/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)
  • Hi all, am back from the land of no internet, ready and back on the wagon. Lots of new faces, good to see. Must read back over the 50 odd pages i've missed...how did you all do with the easter challenge? I did not make my goal...when i weighed myself2 weeks ago i had gone from 10 st 9lbs to 11st so that kicked me into gear!

    I've lost 4lbs in 2 weeks, so now sitting at 10st 10lb.

Sparrer...weights is the way to go. You need weights that you can comfortably hold, start with them by your side, lift up and over your head until arms are stretched and back down again slowly.

Hope everyone is happy and healthy :T

Thanks everyone. I have a 1 1/2kg weight bought at a car boot, they only had one and it was only 50p so thought it a good buy, so will try that to start. Will also have a go at the stretching exercises and a friend has just told me 'push offs' standing well away from the wall might help. No excuse for a fat back then! Sorry I can't help with the knees savesummore, I tend to wear trousers to cover up my lumps and bumps but that's not really the answer you want ;)

    Morning Everyone,

Sparrer, I can thoroughly recommend decorating :rotfl:, I decided to crack on and get the stair walls done yesterday, what with all the stretching & bending I had to do the muscles in my back, bum and shoulders are aching this morning.

I am so chuffed with the end result :j; I just need to get my creative thinking cap on now to do some decorative accessories, on a tight budget, to get the finished look.

Meals this week will be connected to the “rubber” chicken I roasted yesterday – the carcass spent the night in the SC making stock, so just about to on a pot of soup. I’ve only recently started using the SC that I managed to acquire, unfortunately no manual so it will be a bit of a guestimate as to how much pulses and veg I put in.

    Today’s plan =
B – Toast, spreading cheese, cucumber
    L – Chicken Salad
    D – Soup
    Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
    July - Grocery spends = £119.54
    Aug - Grocery spends = £42.19

    Morning all :)
We had our 12 week scan yesterday and all is well :) It was amazing to see little beanie moving about everywhere on the screen, although it made it very hard for the lady to do the measurements. :rotfl:

    Today's meals:
Breakfast: half a crumpet, feeling v queasy
    Lunch: sandwich, apple, satsumas
Snacks: pot of jelly, petit filous big pot, babybel light
Dinner: grilled beefburger in a roll, some sort of veg/salad to go with.

Back at work today and hoping I'll manage the whole day. Would be the first time since last Tuesday :o

    Mornin' all

Well yesterday when I got home DS had eaten all the leftovers so it was beans on toast for tea. Just before tea the Jehovahs witnesses called and I was on the doorstep for half an hour. By the time they'd gone I was so hungry I could have eaten a scabby donkey !

    Today
Breakfast : Banana, M*ller light yoghurt

Lunch : HM pea and mint soup, WW crisps

Mid afternoon : Two jaffa cakes

Evening meal : Chinese pork belly with noodles

Half a pint of milk for drinks

Off to give blood now so that should take care of a 1lb or two !!! Unfortunately it will be replaced naturally !

Hello everyone. Met a friend for dinner and drinks last night so not a great start to the week (although it was fun and I don't do it often.)

    Must redeem myself today

B: 2 peach halves, half a tub of greek yogurt, honey
    Mid morning snack: cereal bar
L: ww soup, dry roll, lf choc mousse
    PM snack: 2 plums
    Dinner: vegetable curry with rice

Going to the gym tonight too. I'm not motivated at the gym at the moment at all. Have been doing rowing machine, bike etc but find it so boring. Have been to a few classes but the times don't suit me very well.

Anyone any ideas of other things to do at the gym? xxx

    Morning all :)

Need2bethrifty thank you for that, you've just made my conscience expand! My lounge is desperate for a coat or two of paint, it's not be done for 5 years . My excuse is I'm still deciding what colours I want...

    B - spricy fruity porridge
D - Veg korma, 1/2 mini naan. Apple
T - Cup of soup, small panini spread w/ff yogurt, 1 side marmite, 1 side marmalade
    S - banana, melon, pear
E - 15 mins usual, 5 mins weights, kitchen floor on hands & knees. It's a 19 foot long kitchen so we both got a good workout :D

In memory of the sunshine, hope it will reincarnate in May ;)
