This week is really hectic with work and I've no room for exercise till Friday. Polling clerk at the election tomorrow too. I'll be grateful if I STS for WI on Friday.
Unlikely as it sounds considering the weather you are all getting down south OH and I got sun burnt yesterday. I know I'll just get my coat!"Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0 -
Need2bthrifty sorry you had a disaster with the sc. Like Robson I've never made soup in it but the korma I made on Sun has lentils, pearl barley, split peas and kidney beans, which have all softened beautifully. Turned it on high til it came to the boil then down to low for 7 hours which worked as it should. I don't understand why yours didn't
B - porridge
D - korma, half a mini naan. Apple
T - pannini spread w/ff yogurt, 1 side marmite, 1 side marmalade
S - banana, grapes, melon, kiwi
E - 15 mins usual, plus weights, stretches. Takes me an hour to get ready for the day, now with the 'extras' it's almost 2. Lucky I'm retired! :rotfl:
Enjoy the rest of the day0 -

In fairness to SC's it may be the one I have, it's an old morphy richards that my dad bought & only used it a couple of times then put it in cupboard where it sat for years until I decided to dust it off and give it a go.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

A plodding start to the week so we shall see what the end of the week brings xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
I've had an email about graduation and I have to order my robes but I don't know what chest size to put down.
I've done from a size 20 to a current 14. Graduation is still 3 months away so I can probably lose at least a stone even though I tend to struggle with being at home.
Does anyone have any ideas? Should I just reduce my current chest size by a couple of inches?0 -

I have however resisted buying 12 doughnuts 'for the office' so im pleased with that. I used to have an awful habit of buying treats 'for the office' so i could be greedy and eat the treats too! :cool:O/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -
Evening All,
I've not posted for a few days as I have had my Mum staying and been busy - plus eaten too much and exercised too little. Back to normal today although I have twisted my knee somehow and couldn't run this morning. I think I need to find some flat shoes for work tonight as my heeled boots which are normally very comfortable are making it worse.

Snacks: Another raspberry smoothie, half a small bar of dark chocolate
Exercise: 7 miles of walking.

Well done Hudson :T. If you feel you're struggling a bit, what better incentive to get to a 12 for your graduation. You can do it, we're all here to egg you on0
