Good morning all!
At last a better result with another 3lb loss this week so almost 2stone since the end of January. I don't find losing weight difficult but I do like to get results. Should have a good day at work now and I have a busy weekend at home with lots of housework. I need to start an exercise routine next month just as soon as the weather is kinder, but I think I will always be stuck with the loose skin which I'll be left with.
Good luck all and hope the scales are kind to you, but if they're not, pick yourself up, etc. and content yourself with the vision that next week will be different, you will be a success!Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

I'm reporting a STS this week.
I know I should have expected it. I've just got back from home and I tend to eat a lot when I'm at home but I've been back at uni for a couple of days now and I just haven't felt like doing any exercise.
I'm going to have to force myself to go for a run tomorrow.0 -
Darn it, darn it, darn it – only ¾ lb lost this week so having to declare STS, so near, yet so far – I’m not too worried about it so long as I’m going in the right direction.
Well done everyone who has posted a loss, some great numbers there. :T
Ragz, I remember you saying that you didn’t really want to move house, but there may be a positive in there somewhere – you will probably lose heaps of weight with the stress and physical activity involved in the move.
Savesummore - I have started using frozen Pollock quite a bit, although we get great fresh fish here in NE Scotland it was just getting too expensive to buy weekly. Like you I had never used it before and the instructions suggested for best results to cook from frozen, so I searched on t’internet and found some nice recipes on Cook it frozen website. I then tried defrosting it and did a Pesto and Olive-crusted fish recipe I found on the BBC Good Food website – it was delish. Last night I defrosted a fillet and placed it on a piece of greased-proof paper put some lemon slices, chopped chilli & ginger on top and put it in the steamer for about 10mins, it was lovely too.
Today’s meal plan =
B – F&F, ss milk
L – More soup from the freezer
D – HM Pizza to use up the veg lurking in the fridge.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Grocery spends = £119.54
Aug - Grocery spends = £42.190 -
Morning all
Congrats to all the losers, commiserations if you've gained or STS
Back at work today after a few days off with morning sickness. Not bothered posting my food as I either throw it up or don't fancy what i've planned. Seems like the only things I can keep down are toasted cheese sarnies, cheese and crackers, and potatoes! Tried adding some fruit where I can, so I don't feel totally unhealthy, but it's obviously affecting me as I have a huge breakout of spots
Will get back to posting when I get back to eating normally, but I'm still lurking!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Tink I hope your granny is okay.
WI today and I've lost 3lb. Yesterday I decided to play catch up with my exercise classes since I missed out on Monday with going to a funeral so 2 classes, then I was asked to stay for another to help out with a video. Then I was asked to make up the numbers so a class could go ahead in the afternoon and numpty ,kind me said okay! I have never been so tired and I will never do that again. I felt like I'd run a marathon and I dont do running, in my book if you're organised there's no need to run.
The rest of yesterday went like this
B: nothing
L: pasta with smoked salmon
T: spaghetti carbonara (Pasta twice but it cleared the fridge of LO)
S: cup soup.crisp bread with spreading cheese, chilli crisps and red, red wine because I deserved it:rotfl:."Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0 -
My internet has been going off all week so not had chance to post.
My ds has been away this week so it was easier to stick to my menu plan.Which meant a 3lbs loss this week:jLife is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -
Morning all. I'm not going to weigh in this week as it's TOTM and I look like i'm 9 months pregnant with twins today. Going to try my best not to be bad over the weekend.
Have a great day everyone and well done to everyone who's lost xxx0 -
Mornin' all
First of all I'd like to post a 1lb loss please. Well done to everyone this week whatever you've done. At least we've tried.
Aldahbra - I just said no through gritted teeth and with tears in my eyes. I have to say the thought of posting on here that I'd eaten chocolate biscuits helps although everyone here is lovely.
I'm wondering if I should reduce the amount of fruit I'm eating. I eat loads and its full of sugars after all.
Today
Breakfast : M*ller yoghurt, banana
Lunch : Ham sandwich. Sugar free jelly. (Going to the dentist at lunchtime so needed something soft and portable !)
Mid afternoon : Jaffa cake
Evening meal : Omelette with carrots and broccoli
Half a pint of skimmed milk for drinks

Morning everyone, and well done to all those reporting losses. As I reported my starting weight yesterday I'm not going to weigh again until next week.
savesummore - frozen pollock suggestion: put some sweetcorn in an oven dish, add sliced tomato (fresh or tinned), put the pollock on top and sprinkle over some grated cheese. Bake for about 20 minutes, depending on whether you defrost the fish first. You could ring the changes with the veg to suit what you have in the fridge.hudson2012 wrote: »I'm at home but I've been back at uni for a couple of days now and I just haven't felt like doing any exercise.

Would it be worth exploring other things on offer at the university sports building? Its a good chance to learn something new. When I was a student I tried squash, tennis, weight training, life saving, and improved my badminton. I found getting a regular badminton or squash session once a week made me exercise regularly as I didn't want to let my partner down. The beginners squash ladder was also a good way of making new friends who studied different subjects and I wouldn't have met otherwise.
Also, if your university has a sports science department they're always looking for people to be guinea pigs in research projects. Free fitness advice, and regular appointments are very good for motivation
Robson - I would keep going with the fruit. Otherwise you'll probably be tempted by other higher calorie sweet alternatives.
Food so far today 1 x yoghurt, and part way through my first coffeeRoast beef for dinner, but still to decide what to have with it and lunch is currently an unplanned mystery :rotfl:
Happy Friday everyone
