    well done all x.

Im sooo mad with myself. I cheated and weighed myself yesterday and had lost 1lb now i weigh today and ive put that pound back on.

i need to try harder this week.

oh does anyone know if drinking more water helps you lose weight. I hardly drink anything during the day and wondering if thats where im going wrong, or its the choccie ive bene eating oops x

Don't worry I'm sure we all have a sneaky peek before WI, I also vary on a daily basis going up and down, if you try again tomorrow it may well be down again.

I also try and drink at least 6-8 glasses of water a day in addition to tea/coffee/etc like Ragz mentioned I find it fills me up - they do say that people confuse being hungry with being dehydrated so often a glass of water is the answer.

No luck with being able to fit into my old Size 8/10 clothes though - I tried on a pair of jeans I used to wear and I swear it was like trying to get into a Babygrow

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, I also have a pair of jeans like that, I did get them fastened but the "muffin top" was yuck, yuck, yuck. But I am forever hopeful and they are laundered & ironed waiting until I lose another few pounds

I think having someone to 'answer to' re food and posting what i eat plus reading all about others struggles/good days/exercise really helps and 1) you dont feel alone and 2) I feel like im letting the side down if I dont try hard 3) its nice to know your not the only one who stuffs handfuls of biscuits into your face on a bad day :rotfl:

    Today:

B: 2 HM wholemeal toast, butter and 1 bolied egg
    S: Muller R*ce (nearly 200 kcals )

Didn't weigh myself yesterday as I was feeling like a fat frump, so mightily pleased to find this morning that I have STS

Whilst perhaps not quite as I might have wished for the past few weeks I seem to be on that plateau, but not too bothered as long as it's not getting worse. I'm going to try and up the ante this week with a bit more effort to be more active and see if that makes a difference.

I have another 2lb loss to declare this morning in addition to the 1lb loss I posted yesterday!:j Can hardly believe it!

This is going to sound absolutely ridiculous but when I woke this morning, I thought "gosh my stomach seems flatter", so I weighed myself, and the scales are rock steady on 10st 9lb :T
So, that means I've lost a whole stone over the two challenges :T
I think I'll market my diet plan of gorging on chocolate at weekends and eating healthy lentils and veges the rest of the week :rotfl: What I have cut down a lot on, is meat. My meat portion sizes were far too big and now they are much smaller OR non existent, depending on the meal. Generally, my portion sizes of everything are smaller (though to be honest, I constantly struggle with myself to keep the portions smaller rather than larger).

So, one very happy LB here today as you can imagine :A

    Today's plan -

    Brekkie - hm muesli
Lunch - hot cross bun from freezer after hairdressers
Dinner - a kind of a tapas/greek salad/cheesy meal - I really fancy something like tapas tonight, but I'm adapting to suit what I have in the store cupboards/fridge/freezer, and will be finally making the lentil/sweet potato pate to go with some olives, artichoke hearts, sweet peppers, large butter beans in tomato sauce, feta cheese, hm blue cheese dip, goats cheese, lots of salad, and the meat off a a chicken leg. My thinking is that I'll be able to use all the left overs for lunches early next week at work.

Exercise - unlikely as heavy showers today (makes a change from rain?!?), but intend to keep busy with the housework and ironing this afternoon.

Treats - not sure...probably a large glass of wine...how did that bottle get into the fridge to cool?

Off to update my siggy now. Happy Happy Saturday :T. Hope all are well - enjoy your Saturdays. We've made it safely through another week

    LB xx

    Well done Lavenderbees!
Livingproof - Perhaps doing the challenge you are thinking more about food so you are unconciously actually eating more? What were you doing before the challenge that you are doing differently now? Also, as you lose weight you need less calories and the remaining weight comes off slower.

I rather went downhill yesterday... got all down and ate a LOT of malt loaf. I fed the rest to DH and the DCs this morning so it's gone now.
(Ok, I had one small sliver...)

    Pancakes for breakfast I think...
    Lunch - who knows?
    Dinner - no idea!

Oh Gosh I really must go and do the mealplan!

    B xx

:rotfl:same way as the chocolate got into mine I think!

Some of you were talking about "thin" clothes, my wardobe consists of "fat" clothes and the various sizes down from them to "thinest" clothes! I can't throw the thin clothes out as it means admitting defeat and I really am trying to get to grips with my yoyo weight once and for all now.

    okay, food for today
    B- muesli
L-Ham salad, slice of hm low fat jam sponge (no cream!)
T-Rest of vegie soup, slice of bread

Snacks, Pear, Apple, half a twirl, packet of crisps

Hope you all have a great weekend!
