I have not been writing down my meals for the last couple of days but have been doing ok. I am now getting used to the low salt and fat the doctor has ordered for me.
It is a week now since she gave me my reults from the tests and said I had to lose weight and on weighing myself today I am 1kg down so now 76kg :jLife is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -

Morning Folks,Thanks LB, I'm one of those who's been in the doldrums and need snap out of it now! Think it's because I can't get into the garden, there's no other reason for me to be gloomy. Silly, huh?
Post-holiday blues, maybe, I know I get them.
Its another miserable wet day here and after spending a couple of days cleaning & painting I need to get out of the house, think a bit of controlled retail therapy is called for. It may end up being just a bit of window shopping (building on my wish-list) or a rummage in the charity shops cause funds are a bit low this month.
Food-wise I’m beginning to feel that I’ve cracked it and don’t feel deprived at all, I suppose I’m lucky in not having a particularly sweet tooth and rarely ever have pudding/desserts, fruit satisfies me on that front. Savoury snacks, crisps & peanuts were my downfall but I haven’t bought any of these for months :T. I was getting a bit bored of salads but since I started adding things like fruit, sprouted seeds and herbs I’m loving them again :j. I had also gotten in a rut with the meals I cooked but now I’m regularly on the BBC Good Food website for inspiration and trying something new, especially vegetarian dishes.
Sorry to hear that some of you are having a bit of a difficult, stressful time, I hope things improve for you soon.

I am feeling a little better today, PMT is easing off I think!
Went to my first Yoga class, bit too easy for me really, the only bit I found hard was standing still! But it was nice to relax and I feel better for it, I will probably ache tomorrow as although it didn't feel like I was doing anything, I probably was. Swimming tonight too, hopefully.
Breakfast - 2 crumpets with honey and a few spoonfuls of pasta and pesto I was doing for kids packed lunches!
Snack - attempted to eat a banana I bought from tesco but only managed two bites as it was horrible!
Lunch - Creamy veg soup followed by a hot cross bun with what MIL assured me was 'lighter' butter
Snack - MIL 'made' me eat a choc mini roll. Grapes.
Dinner - Beef casserole, new potatoes and veg.
