I thengot lift home fromOH so had under 3000 steps onthe pedometer. :( so after supper went for a walk and got it up to 10098 :T but that did involve walking up and down a few cul de sacs so expect me to arrested for suspicious behaviour :rotfl:

    Morning everyone,

grey and rainy here but I'm having a wee chuckle at the suspicious behaviour of DundeeDoll last night :rotfl:

More of the same today, so won't post it again as I'm boring myself, let alone you patient lot. I know what I need to do today - no treats being a big part of it.

    Have a good Tuesday.

    Morning all,

Need2bthrifty, have you tried black cohosh, I used it for 6 months and it did help. There are reports that long term use is bad for you so maybe read up on it first if you are going to try it. Holland and Barrat sell it.

Thanks angelsmomma, I had read some of the info about black cohosh but when I got to the bit about stomach problems and liver damage I decided to give it a miss. I will give the flaxseed a go but it may be that I have to give up my beloved coffee and wine as they appear to be the main triggers.

I carry a newspaper or an envelope - just so that I look as though I'm going somewhere :rotfl::rotfl:

As yesterday turned out to be such a nice sunny day instead of painting indoors I got out into the garden and mowed the grass before the next blast of wintry weather arrives. I also put together a metal shelving unit which I had managed acquire for free, but that meant tidying the shed to make space for it, so I feel I burned off some calories at least.

Today’s exercise will be to get the painting done.

    Meals planned =
B – Yoghurt, stewed rhubarb, flaxseed (my constitution coping admirably :D)
L – Sweet potato & chilli soup, crackers
D – Mushroom Stroganoff, brown rice, broccoli

Hope you all have another good day.

it's not the Shred DVD but a later one by Jillian Michaels. Apparently this one starts off at about the equivalent of Level 2 of Shred and has 4 levels, not 3. I did do the Shred one last year when I first started exercising and loved it).

I so misread that as Shrek :rotfl: at last i thought an exercise dvd that sounds my sorta thing :rotfl:

morning everyone, I really need to get brain in gear and be good today!...

I'm working from home for the next few days to try and get a report finished for work. When I'm at work I have to go out to the shop to get anything extra to my packed lunch to eat or drink, but now I'm working on the dining table next to the kitchen  Have been good so far but I know that there is a tin of muffins in there the DH made whilst I was at the gym last night. Need to be good and not go and help myself to one (or 3!) then I go make my next brew. :A Menu to try and stick to today...

B - Greek yogurt with blueberries, honey and small handful of branflakes
L - HM soup, yogurt and fruit
D - Jacket potato with HM vegi chilli

I'm doing a market research thing tonight which has scuppered my plan to go to the gym (but they are paying me £60 to go do it) so thinking might tray and walk part of the way to the hotel where they're doing it rather than get the bus the whole way.

    Have a good day everyone

    tink x
